I honestly don't care what she looks like, it's a f**king moth for petes sake. They can look like whatever they want to, she'll look good to me no matter what
^^^^
I don't believe a team up will happen, especially after the official synopsis. It seems it's going to be an all out free for all, which is what I was hoping for. It makes the most sense, in the wild if a hippo, a tiger, a lion, and an elephant came together the hippo, tiger, and lion wouldn't team up against the elephant. They would all fight each other till one was left.
Well, he must obviously overpower both Rodan and Mothra when vying for dominance. I think he should definitely be a menacing threat to Godzilla as well, but not to the point of some "unbeatable" foe that requires the monsters to team up on him. Remember the Monsterverse aims to add whatever realism they can to the plotline and have tried to associate animal-like behaviors to these monsters. Though I understand there is nothing real about a giant three-headed dragon, the seriousness factor of this series should deter any attempts at a "team up", imo.
However, what I would be more inclined to entertain is the possibility that in Godzilla 2, Ghidorah doesn't die, but instead retreats to return in Godzilla vs. Kong and then, Kong and Godzilla team up. Seeing as how Kong seems more intelligent and Godzilla is pretty much on his own side, the two could in a way work together to take Ghidorah out. That would also mean that Godzilla 2 will end on a cliffhanger, which I'm not sure I want either, haha.
Cue the X-Files music ^
Yeah, I think many of us here at Godzilla-Movies are going to be pretty cautious when it comes to "leaks" for King of the Monsters, for obvious reasons. lol
Hope you guys are open-minded

You could say his fight with the MUTO really snapped him into shape
Join me in the crusade for the truth
I'd like to point out that I had subtlety revealed the fact that practical effects were being used long before the actual confirmation had been officially announced
Just let that sink in for a second
As a lone crusader for the truth, I will continue to shed the light on the things that go bump in the night ;)
The truth IS out there, and you can count on me to find it
^ Id like to point out that with the official confirmation that practical effects are indeed being used, any info I (originally MONARCH) post MIGHT just be official ;)
Note that I had previously mentioned practical effects being reportedly used long before the actual confirmation...
Keep your eyes peeled, because things are starting to bubble to the surface, if you know what I mean~
I'm definitely intrigued, but by "floating around", are you saying someone snapped pics of it or is planning to leak it?
It's already happening...
I also reported a few months before it was announced that Michael Dougherty was bringing in practical effects, (i.e. Ghidorahs neck mechanisms) so you can trust what I say is true
I hope the rest of you are as excited as I am for the ride that's ahead of us, and will join me in the search for the truth...
Well, this Rodan has grown on me xD, Ghidorah is good but add more bulk.
I do like the sound of it being a free for all. That's also easier to explain than a team up. The more I hear about this film, the more excited I get!
Ghidorah The Three Headed Monster... remake. I'm good with this.
New chapter is pretty short but starts the whole Godzilla travels the world fighting other monsters plot.
Here's the Madman Region B Blu-ray/Region 4 DVD box art exclusive to JB Hi-Fi:

You know, Glenn and Namikawa are tops no doubt. The chemistry they had together really made their romance fly through the roof. R.I.P. Nick Adams.
Katsura and Ichinose also are tops. I mean, "Please kill me" , "No, I won't do it." how powerful is that?
I also have to give credit to Ogata and Emiko with the love triangle with the involvement of Serizawa.
But, an honorable mention would have to be, and say what you will about the film, but I also have to consider the romance in Godzilla raids again.
Shoichi Tsukioka and Hidemi Yamaji had their romance throughout the film but, it's Koji Kobayashi and Shingo Shibeki that I felt was more dramatic considering Kobayashi loved Shibeki but really couldn't tell her. What makes it worse is that Kobayashi dies in the film. That's a sad moment, especially not getting to express your feelings towards an individual you like.
Obviously, it's Ford and Elle! XD jk.
I'd have to agree with Glenn and Namikawa being my favorite onscreen couple in the series. No one really comes close to being as memorable, iconic, and overall just fantastically portrayed as those two. Honorable mentions in my book are Goro Maki and Saeko Matsumiya from Son of Godzilla, Toru and Toshie Yano from Godzilla vs. Hedorah, Gengo Kotaka and Tomoko Tomoe from Godzilla vs. Gigan, and of course Akira Ichinose and Katsura Mafune from Terror of Mechagodzilla.
I sort of consider "bromance" to be a second entity--Akin to buddy-cops and what not. Though I agree they're a really engaging duo.
Fantastic.... absolutely fantastic. A great way to hype people while giving us an idea of how things may play out. Happy if it's just an all out brawl, would make things more exciting.
I'm guessing that Godzilla, Mothra, and Rodan will be in a free-for-all at the beginning, but Ghidorah attacks them all and they team-up
"his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah" I love that they refer to Ghidorah as Godzilla's ultimate nemesis. Because it's true. Ghidorah is one of Godzilla's ultimate enemies. This is going to be good. I can't wait.
I'm glad that Monarch is going to have more of a role in this film.
Well this specifically points out they're all going for the top so no team ups....at least at the beginning.
What about the bromance between Glenn and Fuji? That is my favorite.
Wow I haven't watched a titra dubbed movie since I made this post. Might be about time to dust off the dusty VCR and put one in.
Wow this is extremely close to where I used to live in Georgia.
If only we didn't move when I was in eighth grade I would have front row seats to be able to see anything they did outside of that studio lot.
Finally, been waiting for this for a while.
Yesssss!!!!! So excited for this, I can barely contain myself hahaha!
I think he should be as powerful or more powerful than Godzilla , and dont kill King Ghidorah off until the last movie of the monsterverse and if they do kill him earlier in maybe a Destroy All Monsters remake then have him come back later on as Mecha King Ghidorah !
Best movie ever !
Oh I was going to say Glen and Namikawa, but Ichinose and Katsura are so close.
Eh toss up really between the two couples. Glenn an Namikawa had better chemistry, but I think I liked the story behind Ichinose and Katsura more.
^Interesting. Benni, what distributors handle the Godzilla movies over there? Does it usually correlate with what voice actors are chosen?
Damn, it feels fine to be a German fan. I really don't wanna sound harsh, but the German dubs are usually top notch. Great voice actors, most of the time even quite famous ones.
I remember that the guy who is the German voice of Luke Skywalker also voiced one of the main characters of Return of Godzilla.
I guess it is due to the fact, that voice acting is quite a thing here in Germany, whereas in the US voice acting is not thaaat important, because most movies are simply from the US.
I would have had a problem if Gojira wasn't #1. But not having including any of the Heisei series, considering the tone of early set, and the battles in GvMG is a little disappointing. But to not have GMK on the list, to me, is utter non-sense. My list:
1. Gojira
2. GMK
3. 2014
4. GvMothra '67
5. GvKong
Shin has yet to settle in. I have to watch it a couple more times, but it was pretty damned good.
I have a special place in my heart for Hedora. But he clearly embraces the campy era of the property and THAT is a major red flag for me. NOW, I'm worried about the film. The Hollow-wood types that tend to ruin these things are the ones that care more about the cheesiness than putting together a rich, yet entertaining, awe-inspiring film that a Godzilla film should be - first and foremost. In my opinion, of course.
I went ahead and ordered the Region 4 2-Disc DVD set from JB Hi-Fi in Australia for the extras Madman Entertainment is offering and, as far as JB Hi-Fi is concerned, the artwork for the Shin Godzilla release that is exclusive to them:

God willing, I may get the FUNimation release for the English dub and the UltraVoilet digital version.
