Actually I'm getting the idea that Rodan didn't hunt Mothra's, but tries to in the movie and get's wrecked by Mothra's "toxin".
I'm starting to get the impression that Mothra is evil, although not as much as Ghidorah. Like Rodan vs Mothra, Rodan gets wrecked. Then Mothra vs Godzilla and Mothra get's her a** handed to her.
So what I'm gathering is that Rodan hunted bug species such as Mothra's and the Muto's.
So, in light of some possible information leaks from TheTruthIsOutThere, I think I'll add some new details to what I believe we'll be seeing of Rodan's part in the sequel's opening.
She/He mentioned Mount Pinatubo, specifically its eruption in 1991. Now, for those that don't know, this volcano was in the Philippines (that's right, same area where the male Hokmuto, whom I'm calling that to avoid constantly using "M.U.T.O.s"), and was the second largest eruption in the 20th century.
Just show footage of that, if TheTruthIsOutThere is to be believed, but edit the footage to showcase a vague silhouette within the ash clouds.
THETRUTHISOUTTHERE - This is most compelling! Does the image you have presented show the damage Rodan inflicted upon a pair of vehicles? I am having difficulty making visual sense of the image. Regardless, the information it entails is quite fantastic! Thank you ever so much for taking the time to share this with us! :)

If Mothra turns to be "bad" in the movie I will be okay... I mean, those monsters are prehistoric, territorial etc... So I wouldn't mind if Mothra is kind of bad

About the leaks or about the info. I'm fine with the leaks and this info is amazing. I was hoping Rodan would have his Volcanic origin.

I'm definitely intrigued. So Mothra will play a significant role in the Monsterverse and will emit some form of poisonous gas or something. I'm certainly open to a re-imagined design, so long as she still resembles a moth in some fashion.

Mothra's major feat. in this film will be a poisonous defense mechanism, and will play a part in what will be, an interesting scene involving Rodan...

I don't know, this guy HAS said some things that have panned out, like apparently mentioning the film would use some practical effects before Mike Dougherty or one of the other production staff.
I'd say keep an eye on what he has to offer, but obviously with several spoonfuls of salt.
You know if you've seen the image, which your claims seem to imply later on why not post an image? Your claims also start that your "friend" just told you the design was crazy and now apparently you know Mothra's connection to the whole monsterverse.
So are you going to ever post these images that are "floating around" or say any of the things you supposedly know? Just dropping these vague things don't really answer anything, if you have the answers and you're apparently the first one privy to these post something, we saw posts like this all the time before before G14 unless we see something besides claims these don't really hold up.
Ghidorah's going to definitely be a Big Bad in this, but Mothra's going to play a bigger and more interesting role, and it won't end there ;)

I bet the opening will start few million years ago where the early men spot Godzilla rising from the depths and we see King Ghidorah arrive, followed by Mothra and Rodan. Then we see some montage from MONARCH showing past NASA events and the JFK Speech form that footage of the movie in comic con 2014 along with the cave paintings in Kong Skull Island and finally footage of the aftermath in Godzilla 2014 and events that took place after the 2014 movie. Just saying my opinions.

I think this, King Ghidorah, will be VERY dangerous & intelligent. IF, they want to adapt these perverse monsters to current events. Then, I would think he could be based on the mythic 3-headed creature found in, Russian, mythology. Zmey Gorynych, is described as a 3-headed dragon, breathes fire etc. Sorry if this was already mentioned
