Ghidorah will most likely share the spotlight with Godzilla, since the two are archenemies.
2014 himself, I was too lazy to read through the last three pages of comments on this thread xD
They might drop a proof of concept like they did at the 2012 comic con for Godzilla 2014.
I could believe that. Godzilla's pretty damn old already. He let himself get overwhelmed by two iddy-biddy Hokmutos, for MONARCH's sake!
Definitely an eye-opener. Hehe........ imagining Godzilla doing push-ups, sit-ups, and drinking plenty of juice to get in shape puts a smile on my face.
I could imagine a funny scene where Millie Brown and Vera Farmiga's characters are singing to Mothra, only for her to sneeze on them. That'd be fun.
Alright, I elect we simply ignore this guy and continue our discussion.
So, back to the topic at hand. Comic-Con is an obvious bet for announcing something, but what?
It's certainly too early to have actual footage or completed CGI sequences. Perhaps something akin to the original teaser trailer for the first movie, which set the stage and hyped up the fans? I could certainly see that happening.
If that happens, what could possibly be shown, if something is indeed shown? I'm blanking out on my imagination right now, unfortunately :P
Kindly leave the fandom if all you want to do I troll its members. Stop with the John Edward style broad, vague whispering about likely events trying to deceive people into thinking you have information you don't, find better hobbies.
I wonder if Mothra will like singing?
But Mothra will get her chance to shine...
If you thought you saw him struggle when he fought the MUTO, you haven't seen nothing yet. Godzilla's in for the fight of his life, and in the end, he will be crowned the absolute King of the Monsters.
But can he contend with this new challenger for the crown? Will Godzilla become the King Of All Monsters?
Don't worry folks, Godzilla will be incredible
Godzilla's gonna have the time of his life trying to catch up with his ol' rival.
I want G to steal the show, not Mothra.
They don't call Godzilla the "King of the Monsters" for nothing
Gentleman, no need to argue. This is not the place for it, nor is it the place to heckle other users. If you're not happy with what's being said here, you don't have to listen. Let them be the judge of what they do, and go about your day worrying about yourself. Everyone knows the routine around here, so kindly leave the thread if you have nothing to do but heckle me.
I'm curious what the origin is for Godzilla in Monster Planet. It's interesting that Godzilla appears at the end of the 20th century, or it at least doesn't have any immediate ties to the nuclear testing in the 50's which all the origins have had a connection to.
No, that's not what speculating is at all.
Speculation is "I wonder if" or "maybe this will happen" or "I think this may be the case." At no point is speculation ever treated as fact. What you're doing is treating this troll as a source at Legendary and eating up every bite he serves. The guy doesn't know anything, he's just doimg this because he thinks it's funny. We're you around in the years leading up to the 2014 film or Shin Godzilla? This kind of trolling was everywhere.
Isn't that what speculating is, treating things that aren't facts as facts and see what would happen. It's literally the same as experimenting. No one is saying they are 100 percent facts, but we're taking them for now as it's something to mess with and talk about.
Yeah, it looked like TheTruthIsOutThere was implying that mothra could be the most strongest monster. That could just be me over thinking.
You're not speculating, you're treating this troll as of he had information that he doesn't. This guy has been doing nothing but putting forth extremely vague comments about very likely outcomes, then acting as if he "predicted" something. This is the exact same thing so called "psychics" do, he's a fraud.
What Godzillafan173 said, although I doubt she's near Godzilla or Ghidorah, they're a whole different ball game.
Not if we have people like Fanzilla up in here who randomly sign up just to attack people. Now as I was saying, speculation continues.
Also, how powerful will Mothra be compared to Godzilla,Rodan, and King Ghidorah? My guess is, she's on pair with rodan

Hmmm, sludge, huh? I bet Mothra mucus stains clothes...
^
As long I see lots of monster actions then I won't.
Not if they hang on your every obviously false word.
"Gullible"
You must not think very highly of the people around here
You guy's won't be disappointed
I wish you wouldn't act as if you had insider information, but this last seems to be an admission that you don't. That's a good start, speculation is always great, trolling gullible fans is not.
I have been very respectful to the kind folks of this site, so I would appreciate it if people would stop signing up to this forum just to heckle me in my threads, thank you.
The people here are smart and know to take everything said with a grain of salt. As I've said over and over, let time be the judge of all things, and until then, enjoy the journey, and let's all have fun.
I sure wish all the monsters were as easy to talk to as Mothra, some monsters are just so thick-headed sometimes...
There's enjoying speculation, and there's eating what you're spoon fed. Obviously I don't know what you're thinking because I'm not you, but it seems to me you're doing the latter. This guy has no connection to Legendary, he's just having a little fun.
Aaawwwww, I want Rodan or Ghidorah to steal the show but oh well.
Even if some things can be rationalized to make sense by readers, I don't think that means Legendary should feel the need to strictly adhere to the comic's continuity. I personally don't really care for the comic and find it a rushed last-second cash-in, but putting my feelings aside I think it's an unnecessary burden for filmmakers to have to look at such an obscure and mostly forgotten piece of tie-in media when creating new stories. They shouldn't be afraid to ignore the events of the comic or outright retcon them if it serves the purpose of the story. Nothing from the comic that wasn't already a plot point from the script of Godzilla has really been acknowledged, which tells me Legendary isn't really concerned about it.
It's possible to rationalize and find alternate explanations to elements from Awakening, but I don't really think that should be necessary to connect pieces of canonical media. Awakening was written long before the direction of the MonsterVerse was determined, and it had no impact on the writing of the film itself. It's more or less an afterthought at this point, and I don't see much of a reason for Legendary to go back and explore it for future films. And like I previously mentioned I didn't much care for it, especially after reading the in my opinion far superior Skull Island: The Birth of Kong.
Yet again, not gonna argue we've already had this happen like 6 times. No one's fully believing what TheTruthIsOutThere is saying, but we are enjoying speculating with him. That is all
He's making vague statements about extremely likely dates and events. If you put stock into what this guy says, you're gonna have a bad time.
Would you think I worked for Marvel if I made a vague statement like "something about Infinity War is going to happen at SDCC. I may be an insider. ;) ;) ;)" That's literally what this guy is doing.
So.... is there several King Ghidorah's?
Really? Strange considering she didn't really before, except for in Mothra vs Godzilla. Will she steal it from even G himself?
You mentioned that something was going to happen on July 20, 2017, the first day of Comic-Con. So we assumed it would be a trailer, were we wrong?
Mothra's gonna steal the show!
This movie's going to be bats!
