Well this completely proves TheTruthisOutThere is a fraud as I've been saying. He's claimed on multiple occasions that Ghidorah would be in Siberia, and Legendary has revealed he's in Antartica, on the other side of the globe.
So... unbelievably... awesome.
Fingers crossed for Mothra and Rodan timeline entries soon!
It all depends on whether or not the MonsterVerse will continue after Godzilla vs. Kong.
"The devil has three heads"
That line sends chills down my spines!
^
ah ok then I could say yes!
Monsterverse Kaiju.
Do you mean by more new kaijus or more Toho kaijus?
He's probably going to be a freak of nature.
Interesting. It looks like ghidorah is gonna be woken up from the ice. I wonder if it'll be a result of the mutos, or a result of big G himself! The other thing that's been on my mind is if he'll be an alien or a freak or nature like the other monsters? Lets hope comic con brings about something awesome!

Shaun711- Oh yeah, I remember now. Thanks.
I think I'll be getting these figures.
Well Cranston and Goodman yeah, but Jackson had a big role that lasted almost the whole movie.
So what they said was true, G's skin is mixed with some kind of metallic substance. I wonder what his origin will be?
With all that information I don't see how it could be anything else.
Careful if and when you find out your favorite actor joins a roll in the Monsterverse. They could suffer the same fate as Bryan Cranston, John Goodman, and Samuel L. Jackson. If you seen Godzilla (2014) and Kong Skull Island, you will know exactly what I mean.
Gee I hope the Kaiju aren't all one color in this movie.
There's some red on the Servum there, so it's not like these are unpainted models.
I guess we'll have to wait and see.
I read on another site that there is no Godzilla PERIOD this year at SDCC.
It's legit.
The images are of Bandai's new Movie Monster Series 6" line for the film. That's obviously Godzilla 2017, and the Servum will be joining him. A 12" Monster King Series Godzilla was also announced. He comes out in October, so the smaller ones should come out around the same time. Pre-orders open in August.

Remember the scene when Rosita tried to shoot Negan? Arat was the one that cut Rosita's face then shot Olivia as payback.
Even thought I watch the Walking Dead, I don't remember this actress.
There isn't confirmation that the temple is related to Mothra--It's mostly fan rumors. But, that being said, if I were a betting man...
They said when Kong Skull Island came out it was the first of the trilogy, and seemed it would connect with the next 2 movies a lot. I think they will go out of the way to connect to Kong since he's coming in the next movie.
Um that's really, really bad. If he doesn't have anything ready to show then that's really sad. The movie comes out next February that's really not far away at all.
Sweet! So we're already seeing bits of Mothra's history, likely with her being worshiped.
TBH I actually forgot about Randa mention the Lawton, cool to see that it was Godzilla that sank it. That's also pretty cool as it shows that he's attacked military vehicles before and he can do it again.
^ I'm still holding onto the theory that Charles Dance is playing an older James Conrad.
^ Strangely enough though, it would appear Kong: Skull Island retcons the "1954" line, much like it did for the founding of Monarch. The U.S.S. Lawton was sunk in 1943, and according to Vogt-Roberts' commentary in the film's special features, it was Godzilla who sank it. Originally, Randa was meant to show pictures of Godzilla during the scene where he discusses the shipwreck, but it was changed because Vogt-Roberts felt it was "too on the nose" and he wanted audiences to figure it out for themselves. So if that's the case, Godzilla was active prior to 1954, which would reconcile a very small part of the discrepancies between Godzilla and Awakening. I still don't think it fully redeems Awakening, but it's apparent at this point Kong has retconned some of what was established in the history given in Godzilla.
I think Durp's explanation of everything is spot-on. Legendary goes out of its way to avoid treating all of Awakening as canon, as it was written very detached from the film and before the MonsterVerse was a thing. Legendary is most likely going back and picking elements introduced in Awakening to bring them into the official canon, but like Durp said they are intentionally leaving out large parts of it.

Well, looks like we won't get anything PR2 related....
TheTruthIsOutThere, I want you to be right! It's tough to believe right now.
But in the film they act and explain 1954 as if it was the first time they had run in to Godzilla. The rest is just desperate fan conjecture to connect the dots at best.
Did it ever occur to you that it'd be under Warner Brothers, not Legendary haha.
TheTruthIsOutThere, looks like you have some explaining to do seeing as how Legendary won't have any presence at SDCC this year, aside from one panel on their comics line. Nothing in Hall H. Not even a booth in the exhibit hall.
Since the hollow earth theory basically explains where the monsters have been I can see it being referenced. They may even bring back some characters from Kong: Skull Island since with the time passage you could hire older actors to play them as they grew with Monarch.
I could definitely see some of the recent timeline material making its way into the opening sequence for King of the Monsters.
Yeah, not really. They awakened something alright in 1954, because Godzilla was up and about before then and he was probably intrigued by this weird nuclear "thing", the U.S.S. Nautilus.
The U.S.S. Lawton incident happened in 1943.Then we have MONARCH being established by President Truman in 1946 to track down and study Godzilla specifically. They were tracking him beforehand, and awakened him in 1954 with the Nautilus, bringing him to the Pan-Pacific Proving Grounds.
The two aren't mutually exclusive. The simple solution is that they awakened him in 1954, one of the times when he was asleep, when he was awake beforehand.
Simple composite timeline:
> Godzilla awakens in 1943 and attacks the U.S.S. Lawton, leading to the U.S. government covering it up
> Hiroshima is bombed in 1945, drawing in Godzilla and thus prompting Truman to sign off on MONARCH to track and destroy him
> The U.S.S. Nautilus, in its course to track down Godzilla, awakens him with its nuclear technology in 1954, which allows General Douglas MacArthur to field Operation: Lucky Dragon, Castle Bravo to the Pentagon and the public
