I all depends of which era and which incarnation. But if we are saying in general, I'd say Mothra, King Ghidorah, Monster X/Keizer Ghidorah, Destoroyah, and MechaGodzilla.
To be honest, I don't want him to die nor should he technically. We need to keep the MonsterVerse alive.
I would kind of depends on if the other monsters live or die. If Rodan or Mothra die, I'd like them to at least go out having something to do with taking Ghidorah down.
Humans.
If we're just looking at kaiju, it would depend on era. King Ghidorah is a civilization destroyer, Biollante is immortal, and Keizer Ghidorah is the ultimate weapon of Planet X so take your pick really.
I'm somewhat at peace that the Monsterverse won't continue after Godzilla vs. Kong--Which is fine, Legendary's deal with Toho was always going to be temporary.
But even if the next two movies make bank at the box office and Legendary reaches a new deal with Toho, I'm not sure what can top the escalation brought on by these two upcoming movies. We have Toho's Big 4 in the movie this year and the rematch we've been waiting for after 57 years in 2020. What can possibly top all of this?
First of all, Yes I think the Monsterverse will continue after GvK. Even though it will take some time to convince Toho to extend the rights of Godzilla some more, but if Legendary/WB can make a deal that allows Toho to make their own Godzilla movies again it could work.
If Godzilla 3 were to happen, I am putting my money on Biollante. I have already made an entire topic based on why she would appear so I won't repeat myself here. A new kaiju could also work, but at this point, Toho would be more open to Legendary with their kaiju and getting the rights to these characters.
The story could focus more on the terrorist group that will first be featured in KOTM and meet new characters who work for them. Maybe Biollante (still a small plant) was being experimented by the terrorist group.
When one of the workers at the group tries to leave the group and takes the plant with him (could be worth a lot of money which could support his family). maybe in the process, the plant becomes sentient, escapes and grows into Biollante. there would also be a story with Godzilla of course, but I think we need to see KOTM and GvK before we can predict were Godzilla's story goes next.
Godzilla 2014. Went to see it with my big brother. It created memories.
King Ghidorah. I'm a fan of his portrayals in the Showa and Heisei era but not his Millennium version. The Ghidorah in GMK was too small and he wasn't evil. I do expect great things from Legendary. They seem to be going in the right direction in him.
King Ghidorah as a whole.
Not because of any specific role he's had, but because he is THE arch-nemesis of Godzilla, frequently depicted as a powerhouse that Godzilla struggles against.
The perfect modern hydra that became an idol on his own. When you think of Godzilla monsters, one would be hard-pressed to not include the golden emperor, the king of destruction, the 3-headed monster himself!
There's a reason he's one of THE biggest names after Godzilla himself attached to the franchise as a whole.
Great Idea thanks for sharing this would be better gameplay than ps3 and Ps4 Game
The Leader of Planet X. (Monster Zero, not Final Wars.)
Mothra and Rodan Stand Alone would be Dope!!!
Kenji Sahara as Jiro Torahata. He shoots, and kills, a man in the back. Just for money. He also conspired to commit human trafficking.
SpaceGodzilla is my Personal favorite:)
I am hoping for either a Mothra or Rodan standalone movie (hopefully both but Mothra would be more likely). A Godzilla 3 and Kong 2 is basically a must-have. Hopefully an introduction of another non-Toho kaiju (Rhedosaurus, Gorgo, Etc.) and something of a phase finale (not full on Destroy all monsters though, not yet at least)
Showa Ghidorah, Final Wars Gigan or Showa Mechagodzilla. It would have to be one of these 3, but I just can't decide on who I prefer.
I still think he could totally work in the Monsterverse. The question though is if they would. If not in a movie we could maybe get a comic about him that takes place in the Monsterverse.
Also, just like I said in my 'How to include' series, I think it would have to be pretty far into the Monsterverse by that point (around phase 3/4).
I think we could more likely see King Ceasar in the Toho Cinematic Universe than the Monsterverse in a standalone movie.
Yes, it does he falls through the ground and keeps falling. While he's falling he encounters many old enemies such as destroyah.
Man I just love that fan art... .
Gamera Orga And Gorgo would be awesome thanks Reza-D and SpaceGman.
Gorgo vs Godzilla
or
Orga vs Godzilla
("Gorgo" is 1961 movie and "Orga" is mother of "Gorgo")
Gorgo vs Godzilla
("Gorgo" is 1961 movie)
this is just being an absolute geek about but I would love to see a gamera vs Godzilla. I know that doesn't seem possible right now but still. I feel like that film will be made in our lifetime.
I hope to be able to go g fest one day I just need to hopefully free up time so i'd be able to go.
Thanks to friends for their comments
I agree with "Moldovan0731"s opinion
Anyway, I like Godzilla's new design much more than Godzilla 2014 design, especially his big fins. But I still believe that if it was a bit slender from the abdomen, it would be prettier
I don't get why people think that this Godzilla is fat... I mean... when he's crouched down it gives that appearance but when he's upright... he looks just fine. Now the FAT Godzilla was in the 90's... and shin Gojira... looked like a lumpy fat turd to me (yes... I did not care for that design at all nor did I care for the theme of the movie) When you see the thunder thighs on those two versions... just picture a really fat lower half of human being that looks as though they spent too much time at KFC and can barely fit through the entrance of any eating establishment without having to turn almost sideways to get in.
Huge-Ben,
This may be the year. 'Tis fun. Hopefully I see you there finally.
I like it, but I like shin-goji a little better. Despite the funny eyes.
Hope it happens for ya one of these years, dude, I get a lot of satisfaction meeting fellow artists especially.
I've been planning on going for the past 5 years now and always last minute, life inquiries have came up and have prevented me from going. Maybe some day I will get to go. Got a lot of friends that would love to go and have gone to the event, and they're always nagging me to go.
Awesome, if you happen to run into us I'm always more than happy to gab for a good cause :)
I like the tweaks to the GarethGoji: the dorsals and the feet. As for overall proportions, I would like to see something along the lines of the MosuGoji from Mothra vs. Godzilla. In fact, an updated version of this design would suit me just fine, especially the hooded eyes. I'm assuming the intent with the present design is to convey a sense of mass and strength. So, overall I like it.
