Gomi: Ninja MonsterGodzilla ForumGODZILLA VS GAMERA AUDIO DRAMA

Well, I enjoyed it. The Omni Viewer as the main character was an unexpected surprise, that was pretty cool. The narration felt a little too slow and stilted, but I get how that was to make sure he didn't stumble over any of the words. It also could have used more varied vocabulary and some additional sound effects to make it really come alive, but overall it was a pretty fun listen.

XenotarisGodzilla ForumGojiverse

After gain some distance, Tark and his clan stared in awe at the two titans fighting. Once King Ghidorah retreated beyond the skies, Tark's clan bowed to their destructive savior. Legend Goji turned his gaze towards the tiny humans, he snorted before leaving the frozen steppes behind and returning to the cold ocean waters. Tark stared at the massive kaiju departing, then a loud shrieking sound came from the sky, it was Mothra. The moth kaiju landed on top of the severed ghidorah head, she immediately wrapped in a cocoon before using her wings to signal a male variant of her kind. The male Mothra prepares to casts a prism beam into the cocoon to set the remains ablaze. The ground shook then bulged, a giant beak breaks out of the frozen soil. It emits a terrorizing screech, its giant monoeye glowing a bright read. the kaiju thrusts both of its single arm claws out of the ground to snag the cocooned ghidorah head. Mothra and her companion dive down to battle the subterranean kaiju but the bizarre creature merely sinks back into the earth with his bounty. Tark and his clan retreated back to their mountain home. Tark enter the spirit cave, he smoked an herb through a bone pipe before receiving a vision from the spirits. He paints a mural on the wall of a future battle between the titans. Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, the great King Ghidorah, Kong, and several other kaijus fighting in a cataclysmic battle. Among the destruction in the vision, Tark saw the chard remains of humans, animals, and kaiju alike. Before the vision ended Tark saw Great King Ghidorah cackling menacingly above a the bodies of Godzilla, Mothra, and Kong. Tark awoke from his nightmare.

Very Early Holocene, Ice Age's end

Tark's clan gives rise to the one of the first civilizations, Atlantis. While most humans were still living in primitive hide huts, the Atleanteans have constructed vast cities on their island nation. They worshiped Godzilla and Mothra as their chieftain Gods of the pantheon, alongside Gamera, Rodan, Battra, Behemoth, Kong, Methuselah, Scylla, Anguirus, Megalon, Tiamat, Typhon, Titanosaurus, and many others. They were forbidden to worship the great destroyer who must not be named: Ghidorah, Shin Godzilla, Hedorah, Mama Skull Crawler, Destoroyah, Muto Prime, Shinomura, and Gigan.

Legend Goji arose from the Atlantean harbor to great his subjects. He slowly makes his way up the island until he reaches the center of Atlantis where the temple dedicated to him lies carved out of a volcano filled with radioactive material. While most Atlanteans stare in awe at their chieftain god, while praising his name. Some atlanteans cursed it, there was a growing movement within the Atlantean people who rather worship Megalon and Titanosaurus as their chieftain god than Godzilla and Mothra. So at the next council gathering, the many senators debated on the issue of rank among the gods to worship; A large majority of atlanteans voted on Godzilla and Mothra. This didn't stop the Cult of Megalon, rather be humiliated for next decade's vote for the change; they decided to force the change themselves. The Cult of Megalon secretly commandeered the summoning altar which was a large device that had the ability to call any kaiju recorded in its databanks. Mallaku, their leader tapped on the control board and turned the dials until the calls of Megalon can be heard from the large speaker units. "Oh Great Megalon, here our prayers. We call upon you to our sacred city!" Mallaku waited for a response, silence. The cultists collectively became depressed, Mallaku attempted again and again but no response until Megalon answered back. "Megalon has answered us!" shouted Mallakus.

What made me a Godzilla fan? I guess lame answer would be the whole giant monsters are cool to m thing but in reality Godzilla got me through a rough time. it got me through the fact that I feel hated. maybe that's the reason why I'm addicted to kaiju in general. There cool and well known for being misunderstood and hated maybe that's what makes me like them so much but yea just love the Gman he was and still is my hero.

If he hadn't left? The Monsterverse would be a corpse. At least now there is some sort of breath of life with GvsK.

Exactly. As someone who isn't particularly inclined to spend money going to see every movie that looks neat in theaters, you start to pare it down to just the ones you want to see most. Disney set up a lot of big-deal movies for this year and put them out rapid-fire, which I think might have had something to do with how poorly a lot of other good movies did in the long run.

And that's DISNEY. I'd hardly fault the movie for losing out to Disney or the MCU, or any movie for that matter.

Movies in May and now June that weren't under the House of the Mouse seemed to start off okay but started falling off. Shazam, Detective Pikachu, etc., all did okay at first but then petered off.

I'd be inclined to peg Aladdin for stealing a lot of KoTM's thunder, actually. Not that it's all its fault, but opening the week after a Live-action Disney remake can't be the ideal window.

Should we tell that to Aladdin (currently at $812.2M world wide) and Toy Story 4?

Endgame seemed to have a big impact on all other films that came after it.

I don't think there was any truly good release date that wouldn't have resulted in a loss compared to the previous 2 films.

Sci-Fi King25Godzilla ForumIdeas on how a third Kaiju can be added to GvsK without ruining the plot

Having Kong and Godzilla fight with a clear winner. Afterwords them fighting a third monster could possibly work, or one of the other monsters kills it before they fight.

Although disappointing, I am not letting numbers get me down. This film had a terrible release schedule and was totally ruined by an ad campaign that spoiled the entire movie. It was a debacle by WB and hopefully all parties involved learned from their mistakes.

It could have done X-Men numbers..

Yeah. I'm real thrilled it took 24 days to do what the 2014 film did in 3...

Gomi: Ninja MonsterGodzilla Forum*Sigh, Michael Dougherty Ships Godzilla and Mothra.

Awfully one-sided symbiosis, I'm still waiting to see what Mothra gets out of the deal. Normally in natural scenarios the goal is the survival of both parties, otherwise it would be parasitism. Just the fact that Mothra intentionally goes kamikaze to instigate the Fire mode would imply a level of intelligence capable of understanding sacrifice, so friendship is definitely in the realm of possibility. Anything else? Nah, Mothra's been parthenogenetic since her inception, I'd doubt a 50ft tall moth needs a nigh-400ft lizard for any biological imperative. Though if Godzilla takes to guarding that mystery egg and it turns out to be Mothra Jr., it would all make sense...

Well the symbiosis between Mothra and Godzilla is that when Mothra dies her radiation gives Godzilla his supercharged Burning Godzilla form.

I can believe symbiosis, like Mothra being the creature to help clean Godzilla's "ticks" (other Kaiju) in exchange for protection, but not GodzillaXMothra. The farthest my imagination can go is Mothra evolving the spots on her wings to look a little like a bigger Godzilla to Godzilla, so that he will see her as an authoritative figure/parentish thing, or at least be a bit humbled or scared by her. Or intimidated by her.

Yeah cause TheGman123 is right because GodzillaXMothra has been a while so all it does is add to it. So it could just be a really great friendship or it could be a romantic relationship.

It's been a thing for a long time now, and the new movie has really added fuel to the fire with a full on symbiosis going on between Mothra and Godzilla as species.

I'm brand new to the merch side of Godzilla even though I've been watching the movies since I was a kid. So I have no idea what the value of what I find is, or sometimes what toy line it's from. I just found a couple pieces in awesome condition at a local Goodwill. $2 each. The Mechagodzilla is branded Bandai 2007 and the Gigan I believe is from final wars.

I am older now but Godzilla was literally the first movie I remember as a kid and it was Godzilla 1985 on BETA.  I am so happy America tried and succeeded in making a Japanese style Godzilla.  The whimsy was there for this one.  Proud and disappointed that it’s not doing so well in the box office.  I’ve seen it 5 times and counting.  Any ideas on the upcoming movies plot?  Think Kong and him will team up.  Any thoughts???

I honestly think it would be cool if they spark the head to life and it regenerates itself into a zombie-like KG. Even more powerful and out of control than the original.

I like it!  The only thing is the empire state building shouldn't be destroyed on the battlefield.  That's Kong's last place of life further down the road, holding on, back riddled with bullets, looking at that beautiful woman, then to weak to hold on anymore, let's go thinking...that bitch!

ReferssGodzilla vs. Kong (2020) ForumGodzilla vs. Kong 2020 supposed plot leak April 2019

I was lucky enough to be invited to the Godzilla vs King Kong CineEurope Footage 'Spectacular' and although the scene we were shown only lasted a few minutes it was an amazing action packed scene. From what we were told  this was the second battle of Godzilla and Kong. The scene opened on skull island with Kong having the higher ground with what appeared to be some sort of electrical charged reign attached to a diamond saddle . The camera slowly pans up to reveal  actress Naomi Watts sitting in this saddle. Although her name was never spoken the Monarch name tag she wore revealed her name to be Sandy. The camera then pans to Godzilla where Millie bobby brown is securely fastened to Godzilla’s top back plate and it is shown that on the Back of Godzilla’s head is a red button much like a Staples red “easy” button.  When pressed this triggers Godzilla’s atomic breath and this is where the battle starts. Millie bobby browns character presses this button when she thinks she has a clear shot at Kong. She misses quite a few time as Kong is directed by the electrical reigns used my Naomi Watts character to dodge the attacks. The few times Godzilla’s attacks do manage to come close to hitting Kong they are reflected by a giant Diamond shield provided by Monarch. I didn’t get to see how this shield was made or how it was given to Kong but the diamond shield had the Monarch logo so it was pretty obvious it came from them. The final atomic blast is reflected back to Godzilla from Kong’s diamond shield causing Millie bobby browns character to be thrown off of Godzilla but is caught mid air by a much younger looking Mothra and is gently handed off to Rodan who has a large scar on his chest from the wound he suffered in King of the monsters. While flying Brown to safety Kong is once again maneuvered via his electrical reign’s by Naomi Watts. Kong gets close enough to grab Rodan and easily snaps his neck causing Brown to fall on Kong’s diamond saddle used by Naomi Watts . Brown begins to scream at Naomi Watts “You will never be my mother, I will always hate you”. Brown then receives some sort of transmission from a device she is wearing on her wrist. It is then revealed to be Kyle Chandlers character who tells her that he heard everything that has been going on. He tells her that they are both needed in the hollow earth and if she does not accept Naomi Watts as her mother she is so grounded when this is all over. Both Naomi Watts and Millie bobby brown realize that instead of fighting each other they need to get Godzilla down into the hollow earth to kill “it”. I’m assuming “It” is a new titan created with DNA obtained from the ghidorah head that was purchased at the end of KOTM. After hugging each other Bobby then takes the electrical reign’s from Naomi Watts and maneuvers  Kong to jump down a giant hole on skull island that I am assuming leads to the hollow earth with Godzilla chasing after them. Unfortunately that is where the scene ended and the other people that were lucky enough to be allowed to see this scene  erupted in applause. If the rest of Godzilla vs Kong is half as good as what I saw this movie is going to be amazing. I am so excited over this movie I just had to share.
