Here's mine,

I was always fascinated with the idea of merging Godzilla cells with other cells like in Godzilla vs. Biollante or like how Bagan is the product of Godzilla's and King Ghidorah's cells. So what I came up with, is a Planaria worm merged with Godzilla cells. If you don't know what a planaria worm is, it's a type of worm that can be cut in half and then regrow its body completely. Then the other half, which was initially cut off, becomes an entirely new worm. Making two of the same worm. So Imagine having a Godzilla-like worm creature mutated with G cells beefed up to Godzilla's size. Except it would have limbs and kind of resemble Godzilla with spikes on its back. I think that would be pretty interesting.

Thanks guys, and i agree Gabriel i've always thought the ears on Godzilla looked good but i suppose ears on a giant reptile/dinosaur dont really fit if this take is more realistic

The hat got plenty of use in the summer, but it isn't the best head-gear for a winter in Western Canada.

As for the "tease" image, I just want to reassure everybody (with some credibility) that their waiting will be worth the while. I rented the first "Godzilla vs Monster Zero" when I was just 4 years old, and have been a fan ever since. Now, as a much older fan of the franchise, I'm certain this movie is has been made properly.

Whether you're young and eager to brave through the true reality of a kaiju attack, or you're old and in need of a Godzilla film that is both novel and nostalgic, we're all in for an astonishing ride.

Good eye! The painting was my attempt to replicate one of my favourite panels from those comics. I can't remember which issue it was, but this particular atomic ray was directed at either the golden Mechagodzilla or the mutant bat, Bagorah.

400 feet/120 meters is about what the rumors are saying. Sounds about right.

I looked at the skyscrapers in San Francisco, the place where the American Godzilla will 'visit' us. The smallest skyscraper is 400' and the tallest is 800+' tall! Edwards wanted tall but not too tall. My personal guess would be 450'-500' tall.

You got it! It's an old acrylic painting I made when I was a teenager, measuring about 2' in both length and width.

The premiere is probably when the cast and director go and see it. This normally happens in the UK, as many films get released over there days before they do in North America. I remember when I was invited to the Prometheus premiere back in 2012, it was a full week before the US/CANADA got to see it. So, I expect this is what Josh is talking about. The Studio wouldn't change the actual film's release date by 3 days to make it a Monday. Unless of course maybe it was openning next to a huge film they thought would compete - which it's not.

Just as a disclaimer, the Godzilla model in the background is NOT from the 2014 movie. It does have quite a funny history though...

It was a gift I received years and years ago from my father, after he had visited Japan on business. When returning home, the boxed figure was run through the scanners at airport security. In that particular airport, they displayed the X-rays on giant flat screen TV's, which could be easily viewed by those nearby who were waiting in line. A good-humoured old Japanese man saw the giant Godzilla silhouette on the screen above him and exclaimed "Go..Goj...GOJIRA!". Apparently everybody within earshot had quite a good laugh.

I agree, people always find a way to bitch at something. But yes I should sweat it, my attention span is worse tha a 5 year old girl's. For example, I SHOULD be studying, but I'd rather roam on the internet for no reason. I have a serious procrastination problem.

As for the OP, from what I hear it's unlikely we'll actually see any of the "Mutos" in this trailer. Apparently we only get a small glimpse of Godzilla, if that. They're going to tease it to get audiences intrigued. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get a clear on-screen look of him for months still. 

That said, I'm sure the trailer will be epic no matter what.

Cuz it wasn't till I got internet did I find out that Zilla wasn't actually Godzilla. I was so mindfucked it wasn't even funny. XD Then in my childhood killing research I discovered Godzilla: Save the Earth videogame and immediately forgot about it; life changing day. XD Then after I played Save the Earth I researched the fuck out of all the monsters and started seeing the Toho films. Lol
