I think the spines of the godzilla 2014 we have seen so far are the best spines to date. I think he is fine just the way he is.

Hmmm I kinda actually feel bad for Mr.gigan. Its not you i'm critizing sir. Its this so called Movie Maniac guy. No matter how many times you try to say that he is trust worthy Mr.gigan, I will never believe you until it is proven. And the godzilla trailer being released with the hobbit rumor was actually fake so that gives me more power to prove this Movie maniac guy wrong. I hope you don't repeat him again but I hope you do ok from this point because I see a fight coming. Also when I see BigBadBen I just think to my self "Oh god(zilla), this ***hole again. The same guy who spread these fake rumors, the stupid fake ugly rat that he claimed was the official antagonist, Hedora being in the new movie, and ect. Trust me Mr.gigan, do NOT trust BIGBADBEN. I just got the Criterion one on Bluray for the Holidays. Fantastic, looks as good as a movie from the 50's can possibly look.

You almost got it but Godzilla should be more upright unless your just having that as a bending down pose. Also move the legs a little further down the body. The arms could be a little longer but they are ok. The biggest problem I see is where the head and tail connect to the body. It should be more even blend. you have it like ] [ and it should be more like / \                                                                                                                                     

The tail also gets too thin too soon. We should see a more gradual change from the body to tail same thing with the head. But I don't hate it. I also understand you are trying to redesign him and this is just my opinion but the foundation should be the same like with the other Godzilla's. Please don't get too discouraged by what I said. Keep it up if you want. And try to not be too worried if people don't like it.

if the movie is an sucess, this might just get people to watch the first movie.

I read this earlier today. I saw Rialto's release of this back in 2004. I can't wait to see it in theaters again. I wonder if they're going to be using Criterion's restoration?

@LINKZILLA He's legit. I'm tired of repeating it, look him up and you'll see predicting trailers correctly by the date and length isn't all he does with the film industry. You'll find out Feb 27th.

Well considering that a whole bunch of people guessed that the first trailer would be released with The Hobbit, I'd say the fact that he said that too doesn't make him any more reliable. In fact, a lot of people have also been guessing that the second trailer will be released with 300 as well, now, haven't they?

Here's my thought, Legendary are not promoting Godzilla, but they are promoting 300. So they most likely are promoting one film at a time? I bet you will see a Godzilla trailer at 300, and we will get the official trailer and marketing campaign once 300 is released and the hype for that movie dissapears. 

Well don't let what he says bug you. It's not like it's fact, the best kind of hate is the quiet kind.

I don't really like it. His legs and tail are too skinny, and he has almost no neck. His arms are very small. I kind of like his skin color. I REALLY don't like his spines. They don't even look like spines, they look like thorns. I like the idea of categories of his atomic breath, and mixing the red and blue colors is pretty cool to look at. If you were to fix the proportions and the spines, then in my opinion, it would look much better.

Yeah, i like those ones too, they are just old. They've been around for months, if not years, and have probably been posted on the forums lots of times by now.

New Godzilla memes are hard to come by. I thought these were both new and pretty good. 

But everybody's got their own opinions and senses of humor, so if you don't like them, that's your perogative. 

And Ben, my post wasn't directed at you by any stretch, it was more of the general populace of fans here.
