Years after her arrival, Kyorah was tracked down by an alien race who claimed to be her "former masters". As we soon learned, Kyorah had been taken from her pack on her home-planet, and trained to be a form of attack creature, clearing a path for her owners to conquer other planets. The path of Kyorah's meteorite was diverted in an unscheduled meteor shower, sending her to Earth, which she now identified as her home. When it became evident that Kyorah expressed no wish to be subjected to captivity and abuse once again, the aliens unleased Kikuma, an autonomous robotic creature, to persuade her. After a heated battle, Kyorah defeated the mechanical terror and obliterated her former masters with fiery fury... Earth was her home now... And she was free.

@KINGKAIJUGOJIRA
It is a design for the scrapped 1994 American film made by Stan Winston.
I would probably pass out, because of the shock of this immense beast.
Yeah, this is a week old picture. You can find it in several threads around here...
Haven, Goji's spines *tended* to only light up during the charge, not when it was released.
Seeing as the S.H. Monsterarts did release the unused Godzilla 2000 maquette as a figure, I don't see why making one out of this design is outside the realm of possibility.
@Kyorah16,
1. There was a vote awhile back on which monsters would the fans like to see next in the S.H. Monsterarts line. Zilla made 3rd place, but nothing is set in stone. heres link:
http://www.shma-articulationseries.com/vote-2014.html
2. Where did this Godzilla design come from exactly? I don't remember seeing it.
im not really a big fan of this science fiction take of godzilla.. with the "more realistic"-bull (which it obviously isnt)
i hope the beam dosent look like this.. its too.. silly. i want something more visually impressive. but ofcourse this is just a mobile game, so maybe we will get that :/
im gonna miss the glowing spines though....
The artwork is awesome!
I almost kinda wish that there hadn't been captions and allowed us figure out the significance of the tree in Godzilla's hand.
I really do wish S.H monsterarts would make a Zilla figure...
--From the notes of Dr Kusakabe--
It has become apparent that Kyorah's arrival has begun a wave of new Kaiju revealing themselves. One of the most prominent being the subterranean creature: "Mandogon". Upon laying her eggs and diverting a magma flow to her marine nest, Kyorah had disturbed the Earth's tectonic plates, driving the vast, worm-like monster to the surface. He broke through at an archeological site in [Location classified. Area still contaminated] And brought with him a myriad of skin parasites. At first the sudden exposure to moonlight and artificial lamps blinded the beast, but Mandogon soon adapted to these new conditions and began his rampage. It stands to reason that he was attempting to reach Kyorah's nest in order to reach the point of the disturbance's origin.

@Kyorah16:
As do I! :)
Kyorah - The Hundred Meter Huntress
A sea dwelling, magma and fire spewing alien beast who fell to Earth in a strange, metallic meteorite. When she awoke, she was confused and enraged, laying waste to Osaka before retreating back into the ocean. After decades of returning to do battle with new kaiju who threaten her new home on Earth, she has been called many things. A Hero. A menace. But no matter what the people may think of her... She will always be a huntress.

@Demplex:
I never said that you said there would be. I was just being silly about the picture. Its plausible that the Hanna-Barbera/Marvel monsters were an inspiration for a place holder monster that most likely will not make an appearence in the film. Anything is possible, and most of the details surrounding this mysterious Mood Piece Monster will remain just that... a mystery.
Unless, of course, he turns up in the film!
Indeed. In a way, we should be grateful for the 1998 film. As an individual monster, I have much affection for Zilla's design.
Ohhhh.....just look at him, he's perfect. I'm so proud. I'm welling up, somebody hand me a tissue he's BOOTIFUL!!.....
Haha, overboard, but I just thought Id get my thoughts across in as simple a way as possible. His design is stunning, my excitement levels just went from dangerous to the point at which I might become the nuclear bombs that are used to try kill him hehehe
That is funny, we know Godzilla would kick Kong's butt!!!
@GodzillaFan1995 and Gorosaur
Thanks. I figured they probably were and I knew I had seen the picture on that second case before!
This is a independent cell phone game, with no link to legendary or the film producers directly. They probably guessed on the atomic breath
I'm absolutely loving these movie posters, each one is different and just increases suspense even more. Legendary knows what they're doing.
I see an intense scene approaching.
Without a doubt, this new film would never be happening the way it is (or at all) if it were not for the 1998 Godzilla. The pressure and desire to do it right is what has been driving this movie forward, and its more than likely that drive would not exist if Zilla never happened.
That said, this maquette is simply stunning! Stan Winston can always be counted on to create something amazing, and respectful. It would have been cool if this design had been used, but, as Free5 and Treveasy pointed out, we probably wouldnt be getting this film if it had been.
Does anybody else notice how similar this design is to Legendary's in a lot of ways? The chest is very similar, and the arms are almost identical! You have to wonder if they referenced this design and what it did right while designing the 2014 Godzilla! :)
I think you might be on to something. In the trailer we see the power plant collapsing in on itself, almost as if something is attacking it from below. I think this is our burrowing MUTO. I think Serizawa will take a team down the sinkhole created by the borrowing MUTO and thats where we'll see the Kaiju bones and bombs wrapped in egg sacks (or whatever they are).
I thought it was great design before the Legendarygoji was even made but after looking back at this one. There are some things I nitpick. His colour should be darker, his feet now look wierd to me but that might be because I love the Legendarygoji design but the rest looks great. I would rather use this design in Godzilla 1998
I think if zilla never happened this movie never might have been happening
A nice design. Shame that they used the "Zilla" design instead and didn't include the "Gryphon" enemy. The history of the Godzilla franchise might've been very different otherwise....
Thank you all for the awesome responses!
release date for this game?
If I'm lucky, I try to find some underground and expect to survive ... I always thought that seeing Godzilla in real life, it would be truly amazing, but once I had a nightmare with colossal monsters and was horrible!
I just see a scene inspired from Dark Knight Rises but with Godzilla's spines reflected on the glass... there's nothing more than that kid
This would explain the destruction of the trees from the sea, in the international trailer
I love this design.
@MIKEZILLA15 that's funny bro!
That design looks creepy....
From my view, I think Godzilla's torso and up is fine, but below looks a lot smaller. Like the legs and the tail, but in the end it is so FRICKIN SSSIIIICCCKKK.
GODZILLLA RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@DANZILLA I know they won't have any Marvel characters in the film; I never said they would be.
I bet that tree is not going in king Kongs "mouth"
man those t-shirts are too nice, however we can't get them unless we are a company and buy them in stocks of 50 minimum :(
