Both examples are in different keys than the theme is usually played in.. maybe, but it doesn’t completely work for me

I dont hear the march at 3:35, I’ll move more around, in the clip though to find it. I do think it’s i’m a different key. It just seems too happy for me to work with.

I wasn't talking about the Fury portion. The march is heard during Godzilla's attack in that clip at the 3:35 mark and in the Shin Godzilla clip at the 1:30 mark. Slow or not, it's still the same theme.

Here's the Biollante entrance--A great example of its use after main characters struggle to keep Godzilla from returning:

It definitely played during Godzilla's attack in the original film. Skip to 3:35 here. It also played during Godzilla's landfall in Shin Godzilla--Check out 1:30 on this video.

Additionally it's heard multiple times when he's the main antagonist in the Heisei films, particularly when he's freed from the volcano in Biollante.

I know but the theme sounds happy to me.. It wasn’t used in his rampage in 1954, and just doesn’t seem to work with it. Maybe when I see the scene itself it will be better.

Ifukube's Godzilla theme fits him no matter what. This portion was used plenty of times when he was the villain: Godzilla vs. Biollante, Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah, Godzilla vs. Mothra, GMK, Shin Godzilla.

I mean it’s a good theme and all, But it doesn’t really fit an evil godzilla for me

I'm not really a fan of how the first two forms have little resemblance to Godzilla (aside from the fins) or that they look too much like Titanosaurus and Varan. I feel like the forms from Shin Godzilla made more sense as they looked more like a natural metamorphosis of Godzilla (it kind of reminded me of a tadpole becoming a frog).

I do like this form though, it feels more like a juvenile form of Godzilla, in fact the coloring looks identical to Little Godzilla and the body type looks like a mix of Godzilla Jr and Zilla.

Thats the point it evolves. It’s an interesting direction but it’s not about the process it’s the final product. And Godzilla Amphibia is definitely godzilla, if you see what one of his abilities is.

Also, interesting how they incorporated the deleted "blood puking" scene from Shin Godzilla...

Yeah, I saw this too. I made an editorial but didn’t have much information other than the video and the images of the new form. Glad someone else could make it and actually make it a good editorial.

Glad they stuck with his more recognizable roar then. Realism is one of the last things I look for in Godzilla.

Interesting that they used the Godzilla roar from the Atari games.

umm, we’ve never heard an animal that big and probably never will. There’s nothing that suggests it’s more realistic. Sure more organic, but it could be wrong. 

Now if you want the most realistic Godzilla in general,

Using the Legendary would literally be just as lazy as recycling the Millennium roar--Which, as SarcasticGoji pointed out, sounds more like Godzilla anyway.

but i do like the Eva one, it's like...like a top half without a bottom, similar to a Skullcrawler. It's unique and i like it. you can also tell it's very muscular and strong.

'New Ride' (as i call it) on the other hand, is similar to Legendary, and i really like Legendary.

The chose not to use it. Probably because it’s less recognizable. And I think millennium has an equally cool roar.

But that roar is so awesome
