I had to be vague because I was at work and I wanted to get the word out quickly so you guys could catch it on the West Coast. This was definitly a new spot with mostly old footage but flashes of some new footage. The scene with Godzilla's tail almost looked like he dove in the ocean and his tail was getting closer to two guys who might have been on a boat. The other new shots were very quick and dark so it is hard to give a good description. I only saw it once and our replay service has been down so it is hard to give a detailed description but I am very confident this spot is yet to be released by the Godzilla/Legendary social media pages.
I would have taken a screenshot, but I thought it was the Nature clip and also did not expect a Godzilla trailer during the hockey game..it'll be available soon I'm sure. Not too much more was revealed other than what has already been shown.
Good, I like details, I am getting info from tumblr as well tehre was a new shot as you described of his tail rising out of the ocean blues vs blackhawks game.

Naysayers feed on responses...ignored. That said this still looks great even if I were the only one in the theatre (which I sincerely doubt) I will still enjoy this immensley!
I just saw it during the 1st intermission of the Hawks-Blues game. It's a mix of new and old scenes.
It shows a little bit more of Godzilla/his tail rising out of the ocean, and a brief clip of a Muto walking by the airport.
^ This. Majority of the time CGI is always noticeable when it's out in the daylight like the final shot. For CGI that is in the daylight, it's pretty good.

that could also literally be any of the older trailers weve seen as well. we arent saying hes lying (not sure where you got that conclusion but probably imagined) we are saying its too vague and it probably is an older tv spot then. You are escalating an issue that isnt there, for the sake of making sure there is an issue. Let's not do that, cmon now.

It seems as though people who criticize the creature CGI, Think that anything better is possible in a practical sense. It's as good as it gets within the budget and time frame of the production. Pacific rim creature CGI wasn't any better and was disguised in rainy night scenes. Personally I like the CG of the last shot of Godzilla.
^True, especially since original soundtrack releases rarely have the full score on it. I'm sure there will be plenty of pieces from the movie missing on the soundtrack, causing me to go on a 3 year search to get my mitts on the full thing through some other means... :-/
guys he is not lying, i just watched it and it did show godzilla's tail rising up, and aaron taylor johnson looking out a train! stop ganging on him!

It looks like there is approximately an hour runtime on the soundtrack. Another strong piece of evidence hinting we are looking at a comfortable 2 hour 15/20 minute runtime for the film :-)
The CGI on the last shot looks terrible for a 2014 movie, i hope they improve it...

I've been blessed/honored with a girl who is as open minded as she is gorgeous, so more often than not I find her in the living room plowing through Twilight Zone, Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones. She's not into chick-flicks. She's interested in Godzilla, but mainly the older movies. And the new film is one of the top flicks she's excited about this year.
Agreeing on movies to watch is, usually, never a task. Don't mean to toot my own horn here, but I'm going to toot my own horn here.
The colour kind of makes it look like a whale of some sort. Good effort though nevertheless.

Most fan-edits I've seen usually mess up with the music pacing or use unfitting music.

I like it but the way Godzilla is positioned in the water makes it look like he's fat.
You need to upload the images to a site like imgur or tinypic, right click them, copy their properties, go to insert, click image, paste it into source and finished.
It's sad how many people don't know this.
Anyone else feel like the CGI is sub par?
I made it clear that any derogatory comments like that would result in bans from posting. At least for a week. So, if anyone else feels like being rude to people they'll have their posting privilages revoked for a week / 2 weeks minimum. With Godzilla coming out in under 4 weeks, I doubt anyone wants that, so treat others with respect!
