I will be seeing it at the IMAX I work at on Thursday night (15th) at 8 pm. My theater usually does private employee screenings Tuesday or Wednesday nighs for our big films So that will be pretty cool if we did one for big G. I'll probably catch the show after the 8 pm one also. I'll probably see it with my cousins and my closest friends, however , the amount of people who have said they need to see the film with me is pretty incredible. I'm not a very shy Godzilla fan, so people want to be seated next to me when this thing happens lol! I'll probably see it many times since money isn't an issue as I get free tickets ! But I was wondering, shouldn't I actually buy a ticket or two even if I don't have to? I feel like id be cheating big G!

And also its just hard to see his gills in the new tv spot ik

has no one noticed the wound, also if you use photo shop and auto shapen, auto colour correct and adjust the contrast and brightness you can clearly seen he's been damaged (cuts and blood)

I don't think they're gills, they're on the front of his neck as well so there'd be 3 sets total.... One on each side and one in the front in kinda like a triangle order which seems odd......

Oh muto god!..do you see that tram track it is stepping over, I think that is the one the main character will be in as the muto leg comes crashing through as the animal progresses towards godzilla? On second thoughts however maybe not as you can see the muto head approaching the tram in the extended look.

I want to go see the midnight showing. If I don't I will go the next day.

There's a comic book convention (MotorCity Comic Con) going on that weekend, so I imagine I'll watch the movie and then get enough sleep (hopefully) before attending the con and getting some Godzilla-related goodies.

I can't tell if his right hand (paw?) looks swollen or if his fingers are webbed.

Actually, Godzilla is not billowing smoke and is not beat up in the slightest.

His skin is perfectly clear and the smoke is all coming from the background.

It's a cool shot, but Godzilla is not responsible for any of the smoke in that shot. It's all coming from the background. I know because I have that trailer downloaded and went through frame by frame with increased brightness and contrast as well as a little bit of color enhancement. He's fine, and the only smoke is coming from the buildings and environment.

Nope, gills are still there. Check out the video in Jukerde's Godzilla Glory Shot in Smooth Slomo thread. It appears the video is lightened up too, and you can see the gills are present.

I know its a tiny bit like cloverfield but this is way more badass and I mean, you could definitely imagine this animal hunting prey down whenever it lived!

I would not have been able to see this movie if my sister, being the awesome person that she is,  had not bought the tickets with her own money for us. And she's not even a Godzilla fan. I don't even know how to thank her for it.

Anyway, no, I probably won't be doing anything out of the ordinary on that day besides seeing the movie. But for me, that's all I need. Just being there with my family will be awesome and getting to watch a movie that will probably be amazing.

I plan to go to a midnight show and if it's really good I will see it again later that night. If it's bad then I will go home and cry in a corner.

It's lame, but I work 3pm-11pm then, and the theatre is a good 30 minute drive from where I work. 

So basically I'll be working, and then driving over there to see the movie, and that's about it.

If it's good: Plan to see it again the next day.

If it's really good: Get back in line.

If it's bad: Go home and watch a better Godzilla movie.

I just checked youtube and it's not on yet, just saying.

actually,yes i just saw it on nbs and it does look like new footage in some parts when the halo jump scene is on you can see a dark glimpse of g with his mouth open

So heres my theory: the eight legged and winged muto look EXACTLY the same but with the winged muto to just have wings

And I think eight legged probably has light brown skin

Not that I'm complaining, but there's definitely a strong Clover resembelance. I love this design though.
