Mothra is my favorite Daikaiju after Godzilla. I think she looked best in the Heisei series, the Millennium series and in her first movie (especially the larva). She is probably one of the most famous monsters in the world. She may be peaceful, but when the world is in danger, she'll spring in to action and defend the earth with her life.

Also, would I be wrong to think Mothra is reincarnated every time a larva is born?

just one thing id like to say, give it a few days before posting each monster up so there is less clutter on the recent discussions tab, plus you get more comments if you wait

Right now, I'm exploring some of the old Godzilla video games from the past decades. I bought Super Godzilla for SNES and Kaiju Diakessen for SFamicom (same difference) and I've been enjoying them. There's a ton of kitchie collectibles to unearth as a GFan and I find that aspect rewarding.

I like the action in the top one better. You don't see Godzilla bite that often. Definintely an underutilized tactic.

Well since the G universe is so big it's cool seeing the different opinions that each person has about each movie. There are 28 toho movies and I think I've seen every single movie get listed as some1's personal favorite movie in the series, that's a pretty big deal with the how different each movie is. 

So yeah the huge amount of different opinions is what makes this cool and fun for me

so is anybody gonna go in costume? I've got a full Godzilla 2014 suit being built for me by none other than Cleve Hall ( AKA Monster Man ) himself!! i was talking to him last night via facebook and he was telling me there would be a surprise in the suit that we had not discussed! he's really pulling a "Legendary" on me with all the sneak peeks and surprises!

I think so. *SPOILERS* In the the last song in the OST, it's called "Back to the Sea". So yeah, he woke up just to fight them.

Perhaps Godzilla was awakened for other reasons to later be revealed in the movie. After all, Godzilla is a symbol of nuclear destrcution.

I like them both, but the Godzilla's face in the second one is awesome.

I'm nervously awaiting the rationale for breeding the MUTOs in the first place. I'm afraid that it's going to be ridiculous, even by 1950s B-monster movie standards. Elevating that kind of bureaucratic stupidity to the higher echelons of scientific or even military research from its proper environment over at your local Building and Zoning Department is going to be quite a stretch.

Bro you posted this discussion like 3 times already.. LOL..maybe its just a glitch..and that speculation has already started in a thread few days ago.. :)

As an aspiring screenwriter I can tell you rewrites are essencial. Ive had agents point out in scripts I've loved and read a thousand times over plot holes I had completely missed. Everybody comes together to make a film better. Sometimes integrity is shattered and too many producers/actors want the script changed to suit them more or to reach a bigger audience but for certain a first draft making final cut is EXTREMELY RARE.

Although, since Gareth has stated he doesn't like post-credits scenes, I doubt any of our ideas would ever make it in, or even a post-credits scene in general.

I have another one.

We cut to an island. We see Godzilla walking along. He seems lonely. Not looking where he is going, he knocks into a pile of rocks. A large egg falls from the pile. Godzilla looks at it. It hatches and a baby Godzilla crawls out. It looks at Godzilla and squeaks. Godzilla looks at the infant and smiles. We cut to black.

Oh no, there goes Tokyo, oh oh Godzilla!
