I do I also have it on dvd
Like in the ‘90’s Godzilla vs king ghidorah losing his middle head
I want him/it to not die and have babies with Godzilla and raise it with all the monsters in this universe.
Choking on a donut. The other heads also choke and die despite having not eaten said donut.
Personally I want Godzilla either to use one of ghidorah’s heads to blow the other heads off like he did in final wars, or shoot a red beam down ghidorahs middle neck
Not by humans. Any other way is fine. Just not by people.
I really liked Rodan as well. My favorite part about it was the buildup in general. My main gripe with the 2014 movie, though I did enjoy it, was not little Godzilla screen time, but that we had boring characters between the little amount of screen time. The only interesting characters in 2014 were Joe and Serizawa, but they were barely in it, instead we had boring old ford. The slow buildup in Rodan is a lot more bareable because we had interesting characters to follow and we were able to get some action with the giant bugs.
I want him to survive as a sorta looming antagonist for the Monsterverse, but if I had to pick a full-on death?
Getting all 3 necks chopped off, one by each other Titan, before Godzilla decides to throw him down a deep trench...... UNTIL IT'S REVEALED THAT EVEN THAT DOESN'T KILL HIM!
seeing the giant aircraft around rodan, it could be leading him to other titans, Godzilla, mothra, etc
Y'know, of the early Showa movies I've always found this one to be a tad overrated. My heresy normally revolves around how out of touch I am with the characters.
But I do have a lot of respect for it. Tsuburaya's effects were incredible and I do appreciate watching Honda's take on going through horrifying trauma.
I like the movie, it's just not one of my favorites.
Ok..I am not going to answer...we know too little to say this...looking at the recent tweet..he might not die...but MAYBE barely survive and team up wit Destroyah....maybe ok I'm not concluding.
Ghidorah will die by Godzilla blasting him to shreds using nuclear pulses
Thanks for adding this. I have been wondering what people who were there during this event would think of Shin Godzilla.
Senpai cant die he will beat big g to almost death and fly way until Kong vs Godzilla and then he will pass #teamghidorah
50/50 I want him to die but at the same time I don't want him to die.
RadidHaloGuy beat me to it. I definitely want to see the center head get blown off like with his previous incarnations.
go down in style like in final wars
I want him to get killed by getting blasted by Godzilla's Spiral ray
Shin Godzilla is my favorite Godzilla because of what he means and represents. I was living in Japan on 3/11 during the earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear disaster. Shin Godzilla was an intentional metaphor for the terrible events of that day and the failures in response. So watching Shin Godzilla is a cathartic experience for me taking me back to those days.
As a note I made a forum called Kaiju films and Sadism where I worried most Kaiju fans are sadists but I realize I was being absolutely retarded and that just isn’t true, so just ignore it.
Wow, looks like an awesome figure!
Same for the 1954 poster Gojira one.
I’d for them to maybe make some more obscure Godzilla posters, colorations, and movie figures with their truly amazing skills at creating these toys or collector’s items.
But I don’t think that my hopes are in vain, because they seem to not be stopping with them. And I’m glad!
This new year is gonna start off with an absolutely amazing movie!
America’s first true and nostalgic Godzilla movie, with his enemies/friends from TOHO returning on big screens all around!
It’s gonna be fun, and I can’t wait for people to actually know what Godzilla and the other monsters are. Rather than childish creatures and men in costumes, but real characters that deserve at least some recognition.
Also, happy late New Years everybody!
Dragons are very unique monsters of magic not only qualifying for their own creature type of all manner of Reptiles and Amphibians but also ranking in as the top Gods and Kaiju of all time. Godzilla, King Ghidorah and Rodan are three shining examples of invincible celestial Dragons!
Well I'm 99% sure Godzilla won't team up with King Ghidorah under any circumstances
It's unclear what kind of royalties Toho is getting from Legendary/WB worldwide. However, a Nikkei article from last May seems to indicate they're not too thrilled with the fact that they can't license their own Godzilla merchandise overseas. Keiji Ota, who is the "Chief Godzilla Officer" for Toho's Godzilla Conference said:
"Actually, up until now, both Legendary and Warner Bros has had the marketing rights for oversea markets, which is why we did not sale GODZILLA T-Shirts for foreign markets, or develop smartphone games and deploy them for foreign markets.
But in the future we would like do it all in-house by ourselves."
It certainly indicates they want the rights back themselves. There seems to be an insinuation that Toho is not making as much money as they'd like from Legendary/WB licensed merchandise overseas. (If any.)
As for Godzilla '14, we've always been told that Legendary got to keep 75% of the box office take and Warner Brothers got to keep the other 25%. This does not include Japan. Toho got to keep all of the box office earnings from the film in Japan as they were the sole distributors. So that's $31.5 million that Legendary/WB did not get to keep (with or without distribution fees)--But it's just as well since Toho didn't get anything else out of the movie worldwide.
It sounds like a great deal for Toho, but consider that Shin Godzilla made roughly $79 million in Japan vs. Godzilla '14's $31 million. (5.69 million people went to see Shin Godzilla in Japan vs. Godzilla '14's 2.18 million.) Even though Toho didn't spend any money on Godzilla '14, Shin Godzilla still made more profit.
Additionally, it's been long stated that Godzilla merchandise makes more money than the movies. If Toho isn't licensing merchandise overseas and/or feels they're missing out on profits, then it makes sense for them to want it back.
Assuming Toho has issues with their royalty deals, getting both full film rights and merchandising rights back would benefit them greatly--It especially makes sense if they think they can make more money off of their own Godzilla movies.
This isn't to say a new deal can't be struck between Legendary and Toho after 2020. But if Toho extends the deal I think we can all bet on an altered contract that allows them more freedom and/or control with Godzilla. And as pure speculation, I'm betting Godzilla's price tag will skyrocket as well.
I wonder how senpai is gonna preform in KOTM
The trailer they made in 2016,looked amazing. Having Gamera in this universe would give him a good push and maybe get a movie made for him.
I would image it they would do it like a homage to the original movie.
Okay, yeah, it's the thing that attracts the Titans. That part, we can tell pretty well.
KingKaijuGojira have some faith in our Lord Ghidorah. I never seen him burn a tree, just vehicles and buildings that grow Hedorahs. I suspect Mars was wiped out for pollution related crimes that would attract and grow Hedorah demons. All these names to demonize Ghidorah were given by those who know nothing of Dragons or Gods for he is both. Mothra messed up the Dragon force in 64. Rodan should eat that bug for that!
Even though I adore Godzilla, I side with Mothra!
I'm hoping Legendary will reach out to other Tokusastsu film industries as well. Maybe get some more Gamera movies finally.
The angel of the abyss rears his heads, spraying the land with his unholy lightning. All tremble before his power, his might and strength! All will bow to the king... Ghidorah
My armor is like tenfold shields, my teeth are swords, my claws spears, the shock of my tail a thunderbolt! I am the hurricane, and I am death!
He would rule with an iron fist. He probably would wipe out any sort of competition or opposition. He would have fun doing so, and would definitely enjoy extinguishing humanity without a second thought. He would not punish after all has been done, he would just kill the opposition.
Honestly, I think he's about as thin as you can make him without him looking a little off.
This Godzilla is specifically designed to be a bit chubby in order to convey a sense of immense size and strength. Godzilla's more of a chubby strongman than an athletic weight-lifter.
