Point is Rodan was quite the badass back in 1964 and probably hasn't been that ballsy since then. The new movie is going to have to go a long, long way to make me feel the same type of impact with its own collision.

It sucks that they won't make a King Ghidorah figure. But then again, no-one thought there would be a new Indominus Rex figure before Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was released. Fast forward seven months after it's (unusual) "success" at the box office, and we have a new Indominus Rex. So if that could happen, then maybe the same may be true for KOTM and King Ghidorah. But I could be wrong, so we'll just have to wait and see.
That is awesome. It reminds me so much of how me and my younger brother used to draw pictures of dinosaurs and how colorful they were. Congrats, man. He has stupendous artistic talent. I love it. Amazing. :)
Yeah, but still, it's the same thing with Jurassic Park and Transformers: a lot of people still want to see dinosaurs and giant robots, but you need to know who the competition is first.

That's awesome! Ghidorah and Mothra look the best, Rodan looks pretty good, but Godzilla's dorsal plates should be a bit fatter as they increase in size. Other than that, it's Great!
I actually really like this design for a Kaiju, it reminds me of other classic western Kaiju like Rhedosaurus and the giant behemoth who tend to try and be more realistic than the more godzilla tokusatsu style Kaiju, I could see this realistic Kong design being a character all its own if not Kong, that being said I totally understand the need to throw out science in favour of style or to make fiction work, I could see this realistic Kong fighting the original 1933 King Kong on skull island
his art is so good and so cute, I'm not quite sure why but the king Ghidorah is my favourite, I love it
I've always liked the GMK design, the blank eyes are just very menacing, I'm surprised that eyes like that haven't been used in more of his designs especially when he is the villain
Guys, I wouldn't be worried about competition. Its Fucking Godzilla vs. Kong, although the performance of Kotm will also debate a little on how well Godzilla vs. Kong will do, but a LOT of people are gonna wanna see Godzilla vs. Kong

Well thank you. It means a lot from a fellow fan. Took about a year for this piece to be finished. Had to wait for the official designs to be released which was a loooooong time after my initial sketch.

Honestly, whether Mulan is released that weekend or not I wouldn't expect Godzilla vs. Kong to be #1 for a third weekend anyway.
Yeah, as much as I want to root for Rodan, he's the clear underdog and just isn't as strong as the golden wings of demise.
Even taking that into account, other visuals showcase the Super MUTO to be much larger compared to the Female MUTO. It looks to be AT LEAST the same size as Godzilla in terms of mass.
Yeah, though really, with the *SJW* stuff going on at Disney, Mulan sounds like it might fail. Then again, I could be wrong. Either way, let's just wait and see.
Those monsters were not, Ebirah, Kumonga, Anguirus, or any other Toho monsters. Sorry, but it was confirmed that there were no Toho monsters in KOTM.

GojiFanPat I feel like it would be obvious that in oder for the third act to happen, Rodan will have to die to King Ghidorah so that Ghidorah can fight Godzilla.
Am I the only one who just thinks the size of this new titan may be due to it abstraction, exaggeration, perspective, or something else other than it just looking like it is huge (like a trick of the eye or something like that)? Because that's how I feel with it.

Looks good, but the position of the tail and legs look weird. Other than that, it looks awesome.

But we do know what movies are coming out around that time:
March 6th, 2020 - The Lovebirds, Onward
March 13th, 2020 - Godzilla vs. Kong, Gambit (likely cancelled), Untitled Blumhouse Movie
March 20th, 2020 - I Still Believe, Playing with Fire
March 27th, 2020 - Disney's Mulan, G.I. Joe 3, Snake Eyes
Deadline reported in February that Gambit isn't in active development anymore, Fox has just yet to make an official announcement on the matter.
The only real competition for Godzilla vs. Kong in March is Mulan and that's two weeks later. Something tells me G.I. Joe 3 will move out of the month so it doesn't get bulldozed by Mulan. (Assuming it ever enters production to begin with.)
The rest are romantic comedies, a religious film and a cheaper horror movie. They're no threat.
I don't think there are any sites at all in the Middle East, so this will definitely be a KOTM titan arising, since it's not on the website.
Nvoy86 You won'tmention it, and that's fine. But just using common sense and what's given to us, Rodan will die and King Ghidorah will survive to do a final battle with Godzilla.
