I'd love to see Kong fight with Behemoth
The fact that, despite having a mammoth-like head and body, it's actually more like a sloth in the final product is cool, and I'm glad they went with that angle.
Wait a minute! I have "The Art of Godzilla King of the Monsters" but I don't remember seeing Behemoth in it. Are there two books?
Part Gorilla, part Mammoth, part Giant Ground Sloth. Yep, definitely my favorite among the new monsters
Well that actually looks pretty cool. Glad they went with the second design though
YES, a full view! My prayers have been answered! I wish he had kept the fur fringe on the necks, but otherwise this is awesome. Time to doodle this guy battling the G-man.
To add a third kaiju, the Number 1 thing to get right: Don't spoil the surprise in the trailer. Advertise it as a throw down for the ages, actually deliver on that before the 2-hour mark, then have the final team up be a cherry on the smackdown sundae. Basically the opposite of everything BvS did after the first teaser.
As for actual plot stuff, don't have Godzilla Vs Kong be engineered by the humans in any way. Have it be an inevitable territorial/dominance dispute separate from the human plot about Titan origins and conspiracies, that way the humans can slowly and organically discover the big bad monster all while trying to scurry around a fight they didn't start and can't stop. In the end the monster awakens/activates and causes such a major upset that it forces Godzilla and Kong to switch gears, probably right before the winning blow. Then since both are severely weakened from the movie-long brawl, working together will come as a necessity to ensure survival.
Theoretically all this will keep the stakes of the main battle real, and not make the third monster feel like just a third-act plot device but a natural endpoint to the plot. I think anyways.
The more I look at this, the more perfect I see it being for a TriStar Ghidorah. This looks like a 3D version of something from the TV series, and would totally fit with the alien origins. It's barely Ghidorah obviously, but so was Zilla, and I bet I would have enjoyed seeing some more heavily redesigned TOHO kaiju in that series.
Any ideas on how to add a third monster without ruining the plot?
I'm fine with them experimenting. If you look back at the 2014 art book, some of the ideas they were tossing around for Godzilla would've been blasphemy, but you gotta allow the artists to go in those directions to find that one element that may complete the design.
Like there was one design of Godzilla that looked like a fish and it just wasn't Godzilla, but that fish design led to the gills the Monsterverse Godzilla has.
Sure this design of Ghidorah is just plain wrong, but the horns look like what we got in the final movie and while most of this design could've been scrapped, that one detail might've gone into making the design we see in the final film.
I doubt that it will.
Probably not, considering the popularity of the monsterverse is not good atm aside from Godzilla fans. I really don’t want GvK to take the BvS route with the surprise villain either. I feel like they should make one more movie after GvK though. Destroy all monsters. Have the head be revived using radiation and dna from other titans making a human created titan. Have it hunt down and kill titans until the remaining ones have to jump it. Kong would join in too because I don’t want him to die in GvK. I do think he will lose but he is going to give Godzilla the beating of a lifetime before going down.
They probably shouldn't end on a cliffhanger, because if they tease another monster or anything that could lead into a sequel, and the monsterverse ends, then it will leave people disappointed and it would feel like a unfinished story that was published anyway.
Godzilla is my favorite Monsterverse titan. I'm team Godzilla all the way. The thing I loved most about Godzilla King of the Monsters was the sheer scale and overall epicness of it. To see Godzilla fully unleashed was amazing. His fights with King Ghidorah (my second favorite titan) were breath taking. My absolute favorite scenes were the fire Godzilla scene and the final shoot. The cinematography and visuals of that final scene where Godzilla roars and the other Titans bow was one of the coolest things I've seen in a movie in a long time. I loved this movie! #teamgodzilla
I agree with YeOldFossil. It would be a good design for some other monster. Just not Ghidorah.
Gotta say, I like this design. It might not make a great Ghidorah, but it could be one hell of a cool serpent titan.
Despite the bad reviews, the Godzilla PS4 Game was actually pretty good in my opinion.
If anything, it may end in a tie again
Yeah.... Still pretty weird.
So would somewhere in the fall work, like September or October?
March used to be a pretty good slot, but then a lot more competition started coming out around this period.
Given how the amount of competition may have been a factor in the box office shortcomings of its predecessor, I suspect that this shift may be because of what transpired for that film.
Do you think March would be a good time for the movie to come out?
By the way, forgot to mention a source to watch movies legally.

I have seen this movie. it was really adventurous.
I did some research.
Where did reshoots come from? Legendary and WB never said anything about re-shoots, they just talked about pushing the film back.
And the movie was already pushed up to avoid competition with Fast and Furious 9, so if they push it back, they would be going back to it's original production time. If they push it back though it needs to be released in August or September to avoid major competition, and this would give them a couple of months to polish things.
But yeah, this is all unconfirmed, they are just thinking about it, and re-shoots have not even been brought up yet, so it isn't a big deal yet.
So it’s not official, there just thinking about moving the release date, right?
Godzilla and Kong obviously.
Rodan and Mothra Possibly, they really teased Mothra's egg and stuff like that.
The other Legendary titans may show up. Behemoth, Scylla, Methuselah, and maybe even unseen titans, like Leviathan, Baphomet, and others.
A mecha-Kaiju seems likely, since in the newspaper articles there is an article about some sort of mechanical thing monarch is building. Could be an upgraded Argo, or MechaGodzilla.
We could even see Ghidorah again, or Mecha King Ghidorah, but I have a feeling they are saving him for a future film.
I heard from a source close to legendary that Mechagodzilla will be in the film, and Kong will have an axe type weapon he uses against Godzilla. And just so you guys know, This person was right about everything they said about kotm.
I think mecha king ghidorah will show up
G. H. (Gman) and Gomi: Ninja Monster: Well, I don't see what's so wrong with giving an explanation to how the spines changed in the prequel comics. Provided it is a good reason and not some idiotic reason. Yeah, some fans can be rather...picky over that. I remember in the comic series Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters, fans got angry because it showed Godzilla seemingly getting his atomic breath only after he was nuked. Personally, I don't have an issue with that but some fans get angry over all sort of reasons. In this case, the spikes were blown off and now it re-grew...to a slightly different shape. That makes sense. I don't have an issue wth it.
Kogyotsushin reports that Godzilla: King of the Monsters dropped to #2 over the weekend, making $3.4 million USD. Aladdin took the number 1 spot. It is, however, worth noting Godzilla: King of the Monsters opened as the 5th highest June release of all time until Aladdin knocked it down to number 6 a week later.
The movie's total now stands at $16.3 million USD. For comparison, Shin Godzilla drew over $19 million by the end of its second weekend. The percentage drop means Godzilla: King of the Monsters is no longer expected to finish at $40 million, but should still make more than Godzilla '14.
Its current attendance now sits at 1.2 million, tied with where Godzilla: Tokyo SOS finished.
Very cool design. It's just not Ghidorah. They're always going to ask the artists/designers to think outside the box and stretch for concepts. They did the same for Godzilla and the MUTOs in 2014. I would love to see this guy take a stab at Biollante.
I really liked it. Good job and keep up the good work
Part 1: My favorite part of Godzilla: King of the Monsters is literally the whole movie. I have seen the movie 5 times in theaters, and every time I watch it, I just want to rewatch it again. The story was a perfect continuation of Godzilla 2014, and Kong: Skull Island. The story also perfectly sets up Godzilla vs Kong. everything story wise about being a sexual and setting up there next chapter in the franchise this movie hits perfectly. The Cast was absolutely amazing and perfect in every way. The cast performance helps captures literally every emotion you can feel in a movie. Now to the monsters, the scale of these monsters is absolutely amazing. They are so huge, you can't even fathom it. The visuals of this movie are top notch. The visuals are some of the best ever in a movie, you cannot get much better than the visuals in this movie. The monster fights we so epic and amazing, these fights beats the marvel fights with no comparison. Bear McCreary did a fabulous job on the soundtrack. This soundtrack was so freaking epic and amazing and was perfect in setting the mood for the fights and was we were visually seeing. McCreary's performance with the soundtrack is as good as John Williams. This movies is a million times better than all the marvel movies combined.
Part 2: My favorite monsters is Godzilla because Godzilla is the best and most unique monster and he is the hero obviousl. Godzilla's atomic breath is just so amazing and the fact that he can go thermo-nuclear is just so epic. I love how Godzilla can control and order around the other titans is just amazing. His ability to adapt to the changing world is just so awesome. He is literally the earths protector from the evil monsters.
Ghidorah looks like an eel..
