Okay, I've tried doing a little digging around using command prompts typical of windows but either these aren't programmed into the limited code or a lot of it is locked off until later. I did however manage to find something very interesting in the second video that might be a clue to unlocking further content.

(It could also be nothing, but with viral marketing it's never clear cut.)

For just a brief moment in the second video the screen flashes with what looks like some encrypted code:

Thanks for the input.  I do completely agree that after the movie it will be much easier to discuss.  I just want to see if anyone would take a guess/a shot in the dark if you had to.  Im a huge fan of the other Godzilla's especially the heisei era but this new Godzilla seems like it might just put all the other ones to shame but I could be wrong.

I REALLY want to have this discussion but seeing as how it's virtually impossible because we know absolutely nothing about 2014 Godzilla we can't. I'd save this discussion until the movie comes out.

I think I found a somewhat funny easter egg.  So if you type any existing Godzilla monster, it will simply say "SYSTEM CANNOT CONFIRM OR DENY THE EXISTANCE OF THIS LIFEFORM."  This even goes for the robots in the universe except for one.  Typing in "Jet Jaguar" will not give you that message like the other monsters or robots, rather it'll just say "PUNCH, PUNCH, PUNCH."

Yeah, I figured someone would have seen that before me. :) I'm just excited at the implication of that one name!  Imagine Ken Watanabe as a new Dr. Serizawa!!!!  It would make sense, I think.  He could definitely pull it off!

It looks like WB and Legendary have let it back online now yeah. The site they used to kick start their viral campaign tonight had the video featured there, along with another on-set video. It's nice to see it being allowed online now. :) 

That background was originally the background a month and a half ago, but I was asked to take it down since the video had been released prematurely at the time. But like I said, it looks like the video is back and/or WB are being more lenient with it - so it shouldn't be a problem to have it online. It's slightly modified to work with the site too, so it's not completely the full teaser since it's got no sound and the some of the cutscenes with text were removed.

Hi all, very intrigued by this site, I've been digging around for about an hour now, and upon imput of character names, I can't help but notice the record names

Joe Brody = BRODYX12F
Ford Brody = BRODY1.22
Elle Brody = BRODY77K

Further investigation only revealed all the files to be locked by "MONARCH" 
These record names could be ENTIRELY insignifigant. Just thought it was interesting. Nonetheless, very exciting stuff.

*Just realized when you search Elle Brody, it comes up as BRODY, SAM. After typing in "Sam Brody" I found myself greeted by record name BRODYX12F again, with Elle still leading to BRODY77K. Hm.

@Greenman - Have you tried going on the page with google chrome? I had that problem with my firefox.

By the way, does that small area above the M in mutoresearch.net look like an eye to anyone? Hoping it is and not just some distortion.

Has anykne tried the names of the characters? Please keep this forum updated for those who can only access the mobile website.

I can't even access the site. Is it for mobile devices only? Because I'm on a PC and the only thing I see when I go to the MUTOresearch link is a "Please Rotate Your Device" prompt and I hear computers, a geiger counter, thunder, and loud stomping.... nothing else. :/

He's right. On the site Legendary linked to, they do have the 2012 teaser on their site and since Legendary and WB are working with them, it must be alright to see again. I mean we are not even 2 days away from a longer, better trailer, so they probably don't care about taking it down now. I've added the video BG back to our homepage, but if they still don't want it up, I'll have to take it down again. 

Yeah, I'm pretty sure we're all waiting for it too. But it's a good chance for others who weren't able to see the 2012 teaser yet.

Oh well lucky for you but im not going too watch the 2012 teaser again im waiting for the new trailer :)

@XXSABERBLACKCROW: Honestly, I was just messing around. In the text under where chris posted those two pictures and videos were words in red lettering. I clicked one and it took me to a chinese website and I saw a video that looked like the 2012 teaser. So I clicked on it and, badda-bing badda-boom, it was the 2012 teaser. lol
