I'm wondering that too. Could the wings be hidden inside those arms some where? Dunno, sure will be interesting to find out. Either way, I love the design. 

Call me crazy guys, but I think that is the flying Muto, maybe it's like Otachi and the wings are hidden.  Remember, the earlier leak that said that when it was seen at the Toy fair that THIS thing was the flying Muto?  I could be wrong though

Agreed. I'm very interested in it. It looks very creepy and abstract looking. I can count eight legs on it, looks like the two front legs are more like arms, even like they kind of entertwine with each other. 

I wish there were more picture that show the Muto better.

But I'm glad we finally got our first glimpse, as the embargo keeps coming closer more toys seem to be delivered. 

Why on earth would anyone take speculation as actual news?? No one ever did that on Prometheus, we had a blast speculating there. Go look at the site and the stuff people wrote, you will see. XD

This place is for having fun, can't stop people from posting their ideas really but yea we can and do feature and sticky the more unique and interesting posts. Gman looks like he has a good grasp of what to do, you guys are in good hands. :)

Could someone please ask the person who took these pictures to take more? I'm honestly more interested in Muto than I am in Godzilla, as I already know how he looks.

I figured it'd build some hype-- I'm hoping someone else can check other stores and see what is in store. I will be right up at Meijer come the 14th so I can confirm this or not. I realize that the movie will be like what, 2 months away come the 14-15-16th time frame... So it might be a bit early, it might not be, with the embargo lifting, I'm going to say there is a good chance we'll be seeing Godzilla toys on shelves soonish.

Could the other kaiju be the one in the trailer with this limb?

It looks like a mantis, I can already see how the bear-like fighting style will come into play, now we just need the toy for the flying muto.

you are wrong, i meant the guy USED my godzilla model fanart, if you go on scifijapan forums they have what the dude said, he states he uses my godzilla fanart and he made the smoke and city background. i wouldn't be that dumb to reveal something like that if i were the guy

Also, there's another huge kaiju that's not Godzilla. I'm pretty sure that's what we see in the trailer with the red flares. One reviewer of the 20-minute preview makes it very clear that the HALO jumpers (over SF) are not seeing what the trailer suggests.

Well, usually when NECA does a release of a movie figure, they like to release it coinciding with the film's release.  That's why it's in May.

What do we know?

1. Sinkholes appearing.

2. The destruction of a nuclear power plant.

3. The destruction of other areas, not all caused by Godzilla.

4. A screenshot of what looks like eggs wrapped around a nuclear missile.

5. A scene where soldiers are nervously guarding missiles through a tunnel, and monster noises coming from the tunnel.

6. Godzilla is radioactive. A scene with godzilla's tail and a red glow.

7. A giant arthropod or insect foot belonging to a MUTO with a red glow.

What we can reasonably speculate from that...

1. The MUTOs are radioactive and/or they potentially feed or breed off of radioactivity. 

2. In addition, they may be underground (sinkholes) and attracted to sources of radioactivity (power plants, missiles)

3. In that case, they would be attracted to Godzilla, which would give a plausible premise for monster on monster fights.

Junkerde what do you mean thats one of your creations that can only mean you made that fake 4 second vid because rob said that the person that made the Fake "mobile Godzilla Game" claimed that the video and the picture is his so that means that you made the fake vid and picture or i'am i wrong.

I don't think that clip at 2:11 is a MUTO. It looks mechanical to me. I'm not exactly sure what it is, but too little of it is in the frame, too briefly.

Here's a question guys, if the mods made more sticky posts about specific topics that get spread to thin, for example:

- Your Speculations Thread

- Godzilla's Design Thread

- Godzilla Toys Thread

- Trailer Threads

...etc...etc... and closed/redirected any duplicate topics that could easily be put in one of those, would you partake in those threads more actively? And if so would it reduce the clutter or is too gestopo-esque to pull such a thing?

I agree completely with all of you, but I trying to think of a way to keep the place less cluttered while keeping it accessable as well. We have to remember, there's a lot of youngsters here who love their voice to be heard and don't understand they're creating sub-sbu-sub-topics to other threads. How do you guys feel about mods making more "official" sticky threads?

i'm def. getting this. sounds like it comes out march 19, but don't know for sure. but when they do, i'm raiding the whole toys r us shelf of them. :)

Almost 100 percent certain that the skeleton is of another, non bombed Godzilla-- thus why it looked so different. But for those of you saying that the skeleton is of a snake like creature (the centipede monster) know that it'd have to have bones connecting about it to form junctions in which its many legs/arms would protrude.

If you look at the trailer, they are walking through what appears to be a hipbone, or something similar. I'm no expert on animal skeletons, but I'm pretty certain that skeleton is a Godzilla. 

yes please, i think we need more mods, we get alot of really weird and useless topic posts that dont warrant their own space on the forum. Im all for speculation, but there are some posts i just dont think need to be repeated. I know this is an early website, but i always liekd the idea of putting ALL speculation into one thread that we can keep going forever in instead of pin pointing only one specific region of the movie like "godzilla bones speculation" or "dead people in the godzilla bones speculation", we should make a GENERAL speculation thread but i dont see that happening, not the way the forum is set up now
