MemberGiganDec-14-2021 11:23 PMSo, new information about the planned "World of Godzilla" universe is saying that it is a "a planned Japanese and American media franchise and shared universe that is slated to revolve around Godzilla and other Toho characters with the help of Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures." So, with that in mind....if WB and Legendary are contributing to this new universe, will it connect to the events of the MonsterVerse or will the slate be wiped entirely clean? Maybe it would be fine to start fresh with a new slate of Japanese and American creators helming the next chapter of Toho's popular kaiju. But there are loose ends that the MonsterVerse needs to cover that hasn't been yet. What do you guys think?

He was only a producer for Antlers, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Mama and Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. As I understand it he hand picked the directors for each of those projects, though.
He was, however, responsible for directing Mimic, Hellboy I & II, Crimson Peak, Shape of Water and Nightmare Alley, which I have just so happen to have returned from in theaters.
And as sonictiger pointed out, the excellent Pacific Rim, which probably stands as one of my favorite Hollywood blockbusters of the last 10 years.

December 19, 2021Takashi Yamazaki and Kiyotaka Taguchi--Or a partnership of the two. It's been my dream team for years.
That wish partially came true since Yamazaki directed the footage for Godzilla the Ride--But he needs to head a full feature.

December 19, 2021Ok, maybe those two for Japan...and Del Toro could either helm the next Godzilla MV movie or an entirely new project entirely.
While he probably could do characters like Madison justice in a Godzilla 3, I think he should make something entirely new when it comes to Godzilla.

December 20, 2021Related to G. H. Gman's constant, never-ending spamming, to be honest, I won't post here either. It's just impossible to have a conversation with someone who is going to comment on nearly every possible comment, insult everyone, and then tell everyone else it's their problem they get insulted. I really wish we had a decent G-board to hold discussions, but it only takes one high-post-count clout seeker to ruin it. Without moderators, this is what you get.

I am a moderater. And I have no interest in a post count--Note that I post a lot less than most other people in this thread. So practically nothing you've said hold much weight. But I will ask how I've insulted "everyone", especially when I'm not the one who has done the name calling. (Yet someone else very clearly did.) This seems to to be spun periodically.
