DEEPER Meaning

 Let's break down a scene, so Kong finds a place to put his new axe which lights up and Godzilla knows it so he wants whomever can come to join him... Godzilla thinks Oh crap that is the guy I beat up recently... For a moment after Kong comes to Tokyo it appears Kong is angrier than Godzilla at this point. Godzilla even hits a building lightly ?( I use the term loosely) as if to say sorry and he doesn't want to fight. 

Godzilla brings balance and Apex makes him screwed up evil.

I mean it's obvious Godzilla and take Kong with or without the axe. Godzilla has skin basically build for being pummeled, bombed, shot at etc.

Godzilla always rises as far as he has to in order to just stop fighting as he does it all the dang time.
