a little help?

i recently aquired a neca 2014 figure with sound effects. my problem is i cant seem to get the tail attached and im afraid that if im to rough with it i might destroy the sound chip within the tail. can anypne help me?

Did you try useing a hair dryer to heat up the tail so that it can fit on the ball joint?
