Godzilla Countdown

Hard to believe though that we're 2 years and 1 month away from Godzilla 2's release. I remember when Godzilla 2014 was 2 years away from release, felt like forever, but time flew by. I can't wait for this!

Try 3 years, and you're a bit closer. Though, considering Edwards' is also directing a Star Wars movie inbetween, I'm not too sad about it.

And yeah, I did see the option and considered doing it here. It just felt more right to do it on my own site. ^_^

I've wondered how many are doing something like this. Are you looking over the Japanese versions or th English dubs?

I'm watching them subbed in Japanese, but I might mention it there's something amazing in the English dub that I hear about. Sadly I didn't include part about Steve Martin in this, but it always tickled me that a kaiju movie had to be dumbed down for an American audience.

I am just hoping that they can resist the urge to go "Spiderman 3" on us, and not dump too many monsters on us at once.

They've already announced Rodan, Mothra and King Ghidorah for Godzilla 2, but Toho has had way more monsters than that, and still kept it awesome.

Yeah, but the difference is by the time all four monsters met each other in the same movie, Rodan and Mothra had already been introduced in their own films and Mothra and Godzilla had already fought one another. In the new film they'll have to re-establish three monsters.

That's a good point. I have faith in Edwards' pulling it off, but I can definitly agree with it being a challenge. 

I'm not so much worried about Edwards. Borenstein however...
