MemberMothra LarvaeApr-25-2015 10:05 PMwe all know none of us were happy about the blu ray transfer for Godzilla.maybe someone at HBO was listening, because the picture quality is superior to the blu ray in terms of color and brightness.all the dark scenes look fantastic and really enjoyed watching it all over again.thank you HBO!!!!

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-28-2015 5:32 AMThere was nothing wrong with the blu ray all you had to do was just turn up your brightness on your tv and it looks great. Is it really that hard to do that people.

Turning up the brightness and adjusting the contrast helped, yes, but to say there was nothing wrong with the bluray is inaccurate. A fan already proved that it has a grey color filter over the entire film. The proof is also on the DVD/bluray itself. Just compare shots of the films with shots of certain scenes with the behind-the-scenes extras.
Besides, the fact that most fans have to turn up their brightness is proof that something's off. And then there's the source material from this:
I for one am interested in the HBO version.
