I think that's one of the jets falling from the emp in the distance.

yeah I can see why you'd confuse it for ghidorah but it clearly hits the water like the rest of the jets so it's one of the jets falling in the distance.

You see a small shadow that could be anything. It's jumping the gun to think it's ghidorah. It actually makes 0 sense for it to be ghidorah. So this huge monster is flying besides Godzilla and the muto and no one points it out, and the other monsters don't react to it? 

It's just a shadow, or a jet falling, a smoke cloud, and explosion, really anything that was said when this was first brought up and people were saying it was Rodan. I can say 100% certainty this isn't Ghidorah, I'd be willing to bet money on it.

 NOW i see it, it looks like its taill, maybe there where more easter eggs than we tougth, but i dougth its in his phisichal form, its just a ester egg like the mothra one

What purpose, reason or motive would there be to have a King Ghidorah shadow in there? And if it were King Ghidorah, why didn't he join the battle and start laying waste to the city? That's a little out of character for King Ghidorah to look in on something and then fly away.

The fact is Edwards said he made this movie to be a stand alone act. He had no sequel in mind while making the movie and focused only on the elements within the film itself. King Ghidorah would've been a cool easter egg, but it makes no logical sense from a production perspective or in the established universe.

It's a digital shadow that fans are looking too far into. That's it.

unless you are talking about something else, something people thought they saw was the flying Muto over the bridge even though it was just water falling from the splash.

Its not ghidorah, as Durp and GMAN2887 said, it could be anything. Lets not over think this small little detail guys.

Yet another example of fanboys seeing something very vaguely resembling a monster from the series, and then rampantly speculating that it is the monster. Seriously, stop looking so far into every small detail. There are plenty of small Easter eggs in the movie, but coincidental objects or silouhettes that barely resemble something are not Easter eggs.

Do you have any idea how *small* Ghidorah would be if that were his silhouette? About the size of an F-35. Now, what else do we see in this clip? F-35s tail-spinning into the Sanfran Bay. Occam’s Razor. Most of the time, the most simple explanation is true.

Why does everyone have to disect this sooo much. If it is an easter egg it isn't going to be some accurate scale in the distance but rather a homage to the series and fans!!! Geez can't anyone of you understand that!! At least High Flyers Tag team gets me!

But we *already had* a Ghidorah easter egg. There's a golden dragon head you can see during the Chinatown scenes.

That's more manda Easter egg NIETZSCHE. Maybe it's just in the trailer. But Gareth had the rights to Ghidorah way before the movie came out.

Fair enough on Manda momentarily glowing yellow in Final Wars. But be honest with yourself. Golden dragon head. In a Godzilla movie. Who is that going to be? Really?

^King ghidorah of course, but they didn't show anything in any of the trailers that even resembled ghidorah to begin with.

Sigh. I really thought that after everyone thought that the flying Muto was Rodan before that debunked, we'd be done with stupid crap like this.  The shadow is of a jet falling from the air as the Muto approaches.  Why does it look like it has unique movement?  Because fog is not a flat projector screen, it's a three dimensional shape.  The shadow is rolling off the fog in an area that is not flat, giving it the illusion of more organic movement.  Adding to the effect is that the jet is spiralling as it falls, which is an unnatural type of motion for a jet.  Combine that with the fog and you have something that looks like more than what it is.

I know you want to think that there's an easter egg there, but there 100% is *NOT*.  I'm not convinced there are any Ghidorah easter eggs, but assuming there are the only things that make sense is the Chinatown dragon sculpture and possibly the origami cranes (three of them flying, could be a reference to the Dorats). Also, Edwards and Legendary did NOT have the rights to Ghidorah, or any other kaiju than Godzilla from Toho.

I get that you really want to believe this is some easter egg that no one caught that retroactively proves Ghidorah would make an appearance, but it simply is not.  The reason no one "caught" it before is because there's nothing to catch.  I doubt I'm going to convince you because of how irrationally hard you are clinging to this idea, but seriously dude, you are projecting something that makes no sense into a minor detail that wasn't supposed to add anything to movie besides a touch of realism and drama.

Gman, what are you talking about? What's Goji's breath weapon have to do with a Ghidorah cameo? What you're bringing up is simple foreshadowing.

Godzilla's breath weapon has nothing to do with Ghidorah's cameo. There is no Ghidorah cameo. I'm simply musing over what Edwards was most likely conveying with the dragon statue. You asked what the golden dragon statue would be and I replied.
