If I had to guess, it would have to be a species of prehistoric roaches. If you think about it, roaches today are highly resiliant and even immune to radiation. So it's possible a subspecies of roach millions of years ago mutated to the point that it feed on nuclear and radioactive energy. They also gained their EMP ability as a new defense mechanism against certain predators like Godzilla himself!
What do you guys/gals think?!?

MemberMothra LarvaeJul-26-2014 3:00 PMWell I am not too sure if Legendary's version of Godzilla is a mutated dinosaur. I believe he was simply a massive prehistoric animal that was even before the dinosaurs. Considering he was around when Earth had about ten times the amount of radiation then it does today. The Muto are also prehistoric and adapted to Godzilla. Which is why they have an EMP like you stated. I am not sure if they are mutated, but they could be.

MemberMothra LarvaeJul-26-2014 6:57 PMThe M.U.T.Os are mutated prehistoric parasites, and, as seen in Godzilla vs King Ghidorah, The King of Monsters is a mutated "Godzillasaurus". I wish I made the Godzillasaurus up.
