godzilla 2014 ending on youtube

What bothers me is that everyone is acting like he won't do anything but go back to the ocean and swim away. How do they even know this?

Its so ridiculous on so man levels. If your out to make a certain type of movie its acceptable, but, if your trying to make a serious movie that is to be taken seriously, how can it? How can a scene like that be taken seriously?

I don't see how that is very hard to understand. Godzilla is near the water, he's walking away to the water, and so they watch. How people react to this is more interesting, are you expecting people to run scared in panic that Godzilla just woke up? That may be the most logical thing to do but humans have something more powerful than fear sometimes, and that is curiosity and wonder. Wouldn't you try to take a good long look at the most increadible thing in existance? A giant 300 foot tall dinosaur is right in front of you but unless it's after you you have no real reason to panic, if its back is at you (Which in the movie it is) you will want to look at it in awe before it goes away.

It's simple human psychology. People are attracted to stare at tragedies or something increadible amazing.

I love this ending!, possibly my favourite ending of any film!

In this day and age when everyone takes pictures of everything, all the time, NO ONE took a picture of Godzilla, even when he was SLEEP!  NO ONE! If that had been Beyonce walking toward the beach the sky would have been lit up with cameras flashing.  But a 350 feet monster from the beginning of time, that breathes atomic breath, and no one moves a muscle.

Also, if Godzilla can cause a tsunami when he enters the Hawaiian shore, why does he barely cause a ripple when submerges himself into the Pacific.
