Haha, not really. But I know a lot of users are steering clear until they've seen the film to avoid spoilers. Happens every time. Our traffic is at the highest it's ever been. I'm sure many of you have had connection issues this week, off and on. That's something I've been working to reduce as well.

But don't worry, it's also pretty late right now. By next weekend, things will pick up again. This is weekend is the wildcard since some people will flock here to talk about the movie, while others won't even visit to avoid potentially ruining their viewing experience.

I was just about to say that maybe everyone's at the movies right now.

Let's hope! We want this movie to rock the box office!

Chris-Speaking of connection issues, its getting worse. 9 times out of 10, I'm getting "oops" message when trying to get to this site. Maybe the volume of traffic is overwhelming your servers?

It was yes. I have sinced got Scified and this site on a service that should help improve page speed and lessen connection issues. I know, the connection errors have been a pain in the ass. By tomorrow, your browsers should be updated with the new DNS settings and should start to load pages more quickly. 

In addition to this, I am taking extra steps to help cache additional content and lessen page sizes, etc... things to help lessen database load so the extra traffic doesn't bog us down.

I'll keep everyone posted on the Status Board, as I make new changes and advancements.

I ask that if you experience anything other than a connection error, that you please PM me the exact error as well as which page you were on when browsing so I can have a look.

but to be on topic I dont think so as a matter in fact its gotten even more nuts. :)

Still here for sure,now we can look forward to the sequel. Since its reported that the movie will debut with 90+ million for the opening weekend. They officially have a hit,and you can bet on anything they will greenlight that sequel in no time.

No, it's just some people leave for awhile to avoid the post release madness! They'll be back....trust me!

Chris called it, I was hangin back till I watched the movie...WHICH WAS AWESOME!!  But now I'm back for my 2 cents.  

And yes, connection has been an issue, and it does seem to be a little better this morning.  Good work, Chris!

I've been at the movies and a comic book convention this weekend. Super busy. And I've got to find some time to see Godzilla again before I go back to work.

yeah i am going to say that everyone has not left this site, this is the site to be for all of us fans and the new godzilla movie is great, so hang in there man come sunday or even monday everyone will return. :)
