anything you guys are dissappointed with in the new movie?

The only thing that ticks me off is the negative reviews from nobodies who decided to get their own blogs/websites. These people actually count when it comes to RottenTomatoes ratings yet they're calling the MUTO's Mothra, think the atom bomb 1954 footage was real stock footage of testing and they also get names of the actors and characters completely wrong.

Nothing so far, but I am worried that the MUTOs will be more focused on than Godzilla.

I need to watch the movie first, but I already said I do not like the new desing at all. It is good but, I still have trouble seeing its small feet

GTBETTA35, You're right, I noticed that too and it's really unfair on the film. I have also seen a number of websites that mainly review indie movies, review Godzilla, with it being one of very few blockbuster reviews on their sites, which is weird.

They said that Aaron didn't really do a spectacular job at acting so that's pretty much it. I'm watching for good oil' goji

"critics".

My disappointment is the the music as well. I know many of us will be comparing it to Ifukube, and... maybe it should be. Maybe it shouldn't. But for such a film... It's just not memorable. It doesn't stick with you. It's just complimentary background noise. 

I haven't seen the film, but the music is dull. I am very disappointed with the music.

It might work within the context of the film, however it won't be very memorable.

i saw it last night at my local amc , and the movie is really good but 
SPOILERS

they cut the airport fight scene unneccesarily ( maybe it was budgetary , i dunno ) but they start up , godzilla roars, it gets good, then it cuts to the little sam broy kid watching a few second clips on the tv, and it's played for laughs,  when he says " look mommy, dinosaurs" and she stares stunned at the tv, which i guess was funny, but you could have shown the fight, and then cut to that during a recap or something.. which is my main gripe, godzilla isn't in this film nearly enough..... he's just background  noise in his own movie..  and i know that the reviews have been saying tht, but it's true to a huge extent.... in the  main fight at the end of the movie, it's not as bad but still suffers from this cut away stuff, i .e. you see godzilla and the muto lock up for literally 5 seconds,  and then it cuts to the humans and you get the feeling like you're missing out on the pay off, the huge fight.     which sucs so bad because the fight scenes are INCREDIBLE... they're so good but you feel like you miss out on so much.  

Not saying  put the whole movie as the kaiju battle, cause that would be numbing after a while, but . i dunno, to me it's like if you were watching the movie " bill and ted's excellent adventure" and you get to the scene in the 7 11 parking lot and the phone booth lands and you see george carlin walk out and you're like " alright , here we go , this is fuckign awesome" then out suddenly it cuts to inside the convenience store and focuses on some guy buying a hot dog while the phone booth stuff is goign on barely visable in the background.....

and it wouldn't be that bad , if they would have given an actual pay off and shown the airport fight. .  it's like ....... stepping off the plane, goign to valhalla, and going " HOLY SHIT< WE HAVE ARRIVED" then the pilot goes " OK TIME TO GO HOME" 

aaron taylor johnson isn't as bad as people say he is. serizawa steals the show though, along with cranston..  ( who , if he was around the entire movie, or through most of it, i probabalaly wouldn't be  complaining like i am about the lack of godzilla footage.... don't get me wrong, there's plenty of kaiju footage, the mutos have tons of screen time and are awesome, but it's like godzilla plays third string,  in his own movie.. lie,  muto's, aaron taylor johnson, and then godilla....

Nothing really. I can't judge until I watch the film.

I won't be disappointed, but I slightly wish there were no other monsters in this movie. I like the idea of Godzilla being an unstoppable force of destruction by himself.
