When the spikes stopped I went "Wait-what?", and then it was his tail! :O Why did his tail stop immediately though? 

OMG!! My mouth opened wide while watching this! :O

Cannot wait much longer.

I hate to be a party pooper.  But Gareth Edwards said he wanted to make this a realistic, serious movie.  So why didn't the ship's sonar pick up Godzilla when he was miles away????  This sort of reminds me of when Godzilla 98 was lost in the New York Subway, even though he was 300 feet tall and surrounded by 1000s of men and devices that could track his every move.

However, I will admit THAT SCENE WAS F-ING EXCITING.  I will have to remind myself to leave my reasoning and my sensibility at the door.

im pretty sure most of the ships are running on analog/ low electrcity because of the muto's emp so they couldn't pick him up @ratedrex

This also confirms Godzilla is pretty invincible to conventional weapons...as he should.

I really like how Godzilla saved those people including the children (even if it was unintentional). :)

The little boy in me loves that Godzilla comes off as heroic in that scene.

Guys, I know how we can keep these clips to ourselves! Obviously, Legendary Pictures will want this thing taken down, but I know how to download the video so that you can keep it forever! I did it with the original Comic-Con 2012 teaser, and the Wondercon footage as well! Just type in "how to download youtube videos" on google, and it should be the first link that comes up.

The Download Helper extension/plug-in for FireFox is my favorite way to make it happen.
