MemberMothra LarvaeMar-03-2014 2:27 PMShould godzilla's son have a cameo at the end or do you think one Godzilla's enough?

KAIJEW...LOL
MemberMothra LarvaeMar-03-2014 2:41 PMIm pretty sure theres just one, beacause gareth edwards said this a realistic movie but anything could happen in the sequel.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-03-2014 2:51 PMIt's definitely easy to make a young Godzilla in this movie, but if you're talking about Minya/Minilla/Godzooki, then I hope it stays far, far away.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-03-2014 3:08 PMNah. I could see him being in one of the sequels, though. It would be cool if maybe humans found and raised G Jr. Then, he gets older/larger and meets up with his dad, but still has that connection to those who raised him. Maybe he gets hurt by a monster trying to save the humans, and the Big G gets pissed and has to kick some butt. In a sense, Godzilla is forced to reluctantly save humanity, instead of destroy it, because his son cares about them.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-03-2014 3:39 PMI love how some fans don't think Godzilla should have ever had a 'child stage'-- because Godzillas just hatch/are born as full grown adults.
Personally I'm not big on the idea of more than one Godzilla existing in the same time frame, just because it devalues Godzilla's worth.

MemberTitanosaurusMar-03-2014 4:45 PMPerhaps they could his son as a reason to not use the Oxygen Destroyer on Godzilla. That is if they have the Oxygen Destroyer in this movie.

AdminGodzillaMar-04-2014 12:08 PM^I'm going to.
In the Showa series there were three Godzillas, the original, the second one and Minya.
The Heisei series there were three as well, the original, the Heisei Godzilla and Godzilla Jr.
In the Kiryu movies there were two, the original, whom became Kiryu and the new Godzilla Kiryu fought.
Dr. Yamane, at the end of the original film, speculated there were most likely more of Godzilla's species. There's no way to tell if he were the first of his kind because who knows how many Godzillas were still sleeping around the world or if the bomb simply obliterated the others and only two survived.
I think it's safe to assume the same with the new one.

MemberMothra LarvaeMar-04-2014 12:12 PMi'd say two would be enough in the new one if they made a series, and it would have to be an adopted son, no biolgical bullshit becuase it doesn't feel right that godzilla has a biological son, i find it bettre that he finds a younger member of his species and takes it as his own
