Hey Daikaiju Fans!

I'm pretty sure most of you have seen the interview with Bryan Cranston and the rest of the Godzilla 2014 cast. In some parts of the interview, you see Ken Watanabe acting as Dr. Serizawa. In these quick scenes, we see Ken and Sally Hawkins (?) together. Could this indicate that we will have a modern-day Dr.Serizawa? Or are both of these characters placed in 1954?

So what do you think? Do you prefer a Serizawa from 1954, or a modern Serizawa?

I'm pretty sure that he's playing a modern Serizawa. I'm also pretty sure that this is essentially a repeat topic.

But to sum it up, if the leaked script from many ages ago still holds some significance in the current one, the modern day Serizawa may be a descendant of the original in an alternate universe where he never died with the original Godzilla and the Oxygen Destroyer's plans.
