MemberMothra LarvaeJan-05-2014 8:46 PMBeen thinking this one out a bit and I really think we will get one in the superbowl. Or at least the first trailer.

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-05-2014 9:15 PMI think Somewhere in February, or early March. Until then, we may have some leaked info, or possibly images of the figures.

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-05-2014 9:22 PMIt should be in the Super Bowl, if not then thats disappointing

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-05-2014 10:21 PMI'm not sure Legendary is going to fork over the cash for a super bowl spot.

GODZILLA HIMSELF
MemberMothra LarvaeJan-05-2014 11:22 PMseriously? of course they would! letting go of the cash now so that everyone can see the superbowl commercial means buttloads of cash later, besides, you see things with less budgetting like video games putting comercials on the superbowl so why wouldn't there be one for godzilla?

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-05-2014 11:42 PMI truly hope there is not one on the Super Bowl. The SuperBowl advertises silly things like Doritos and Xbox and play station. I don't want to see this dark and gritty trailer amongst eye popping neon happy go lucky commercials about how I should buy Doritos so I could lick my hands at the end because of the cheese on my fingers. the Super Bowl doesn't set a dark tone, and neither do the commercials. Most people don't want to see a trailer on Super Bowl day. They want to see funny and clever commercials that last 15 seconds so they can get on to the next one. I suppose putting it there for views is the smartest thing to do, but it'd be so out of place . Personally I found the teaser trailer to be better watching it alone. You get to reflect on it and think about it in contrary to when I saw it with other people where they'd be like "okay, that was really cool, but lets move on to the next trailer" . It just wouldn't be a good first impression debuting on TV IMO

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-06-2014 4:31 AMA trailer during Superbowl would be a bad idea if you ask me...they would pay all that money for the slot...and odds on, with how American's get all excited over the game, they'd probably forget all about it by the end of it anyhow. Personally I'd have the film brought forward to replace the Superbowl ;) It would be MUCH better to watch.

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-06-2014 11:26 AMEvery must realize its cost 30 million bucks to get a spot for 30 seconds LOL. Also it been reported Warner bros havent bought a spot on the superbowl. Unless they are trying be to be secret about it. i will say March 7th because the when 300 Rise of the Empire comes out. to the confident it will be released during the Movie theaters. it is also a Legendary Blockbluster movie like Godzilla. its a Sci-film & i dont thiink why not. well thats 2 months away. we got real close to seeing the movie. But also as we approach the movie.. remember we will get more videos on the M.U.T.O website

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-06-2014 4:53 PMThe Superbowl will not feature a Godzilla trailer. It's too close to the release of the first trailer to be effective. If anything, they'll just show the first trailer if it even gets a slot. However, so far there is no indictation that Legendary will nab a slot for Godzilla at the Superbowl. If they haven't made a move to do so yet, it's highly doubtful they'll do so at all.

MemberMothra LarvaeJan-07-2014 7:11 AMThe Super Bowl would be probably too early, date-wise, for a movie coming out in May, but if you're trying to reach the largest audience, it would make sense. The SB is the single most-watched television broadcast in the US, year after year, but at the outrageous cost of running an ad during the SB, I don't know if WB/Legendary will do it.
Unless I'm mistaken, the first trailer hasn't run on television yet, only online....??
