So now onto my idea.
the scene is exactly as I described the first time, the spike's are strobeing electricity is sparking everywhere, but this time he has gills and as hes charging the gills would begin to shutter and shake until they began to lift. And through the gills we could see a blue light deep within his throat, and as the charging commenses the air around the lifted gills would shimmer and dance like when you see the heat riseing from an open grill. and as he fires the gills would snap closed and make a noise like a clap of thunder. Also when he fires there is some sort of blast back or pressure wave that is like getting struck by a truck going 50 mph.
So if you guys like/hate thyis idea post below, and if it's a hate message ceep it to yourself.
And Godzilla_himself brings up a good point I acctualy belive that his gills are vestigial and not for breathing, if anything there just there to look badass.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-13-2013 11:06 PMas long as he doesnt actually need the gills to breath( i suppose they could become vestigial when he is mutated) i would actually be completely fine with that, if its along the lines of what your saying, it could actually make him swim faster with all teh preassure shooting out, and could maybe assist in directing the atomic breath.

But he,s atomic breath will lift things up?? thats one weird atomic breath movie and also is Godzilla,s atomic breath going too be powerful like wil the atomic breath destroy up too 30 buildings> or 15?

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-14-2013 12:08 PMdinosaurs, or any reptile for that matter, have never had gills, so it would not be realistic. i think/hope that what a bunch of people think are gills, are really just overlapping scales of armor that make him tougher, but still keep his neck flexible. requiring gills would really limit godzilla(which is why if really does have them i hope they would be vestigial), considering that in past movies he could survive in space. that by the way, is not unheard of in reality, tiny creatures called water bears can survive in the vacum of space as well as all kinds of other harsh enviroments.
