Godzilla Theme Reprise?

Do you think the classic Godzilla theme first introduced in 1954 should exist in the 2014 Godzilla film? Personally, I would rather hear the theme in the credits, but I don't know whether the theme necessarily suits the tone of this take on Godzilla. We shall see. What do you guys think?

I thinck that the main theme should be loosly based around the origional music, particularly the music from godzillas main attack. as for the actual theme, I agree, it should be in the credits.

His theme is pretty much as iconic as his roar. I'm sure you could make it sound darker though, but during his fight against the Mutos, he needs it, because it's pretty much what defines him as an anti-hero. Here you have this monster that was avenging its deformation, now helping you to destroy a new threat.

i think his theme should occour during the fight scene becuase is more epic and surpising and they should do it during the end credits also, his theme is the best part of any Godzilla movie
