(SPOILER?) Upsetting scene that Gareth had mentioned?

I think that Joseph Brody (Bryan Cranston) will be forced to watch his wife, Sandra Brody (Juliette Binoche), be killed off by something.

Here’s my reasoning.

In the third video, we see a horrified Joe Brody, covering his mouth. Then there’s a quick over the shoulder shot (in which we still see Cranston covering his mouth in horror), and we see an unhappy Binoche behind a shut, windowed door.

Now, why do you think Cranston looks terrified? Why does Binoche look unhappy/scared? It should be obvious that Binoche is going to die in this scene.

Gareth Edwards has stated that there was going to be a very emotional scene between Cranston and Binoche, could this be it?

The novel will come out before the movie so there,s no need for people spoiling the movie when the G fans see the movie. the novel will release on 20th and the movie will be release on may 16th so there,s no need for spoiling the movie. and BROCKETT you dont have too get worried if you tell everyone about the movie on the novel. that tells me that you wont spoiler the movie leaving Gigan calmed

I don't know why it's doing that. I haven't changed any settings, and it doesn't look like I can change it back either. But it shows my comments a light grey, and my initial discussion post as black on my screen.

Godzilla will be a force of nature, not an anti-hero; Gareth Edwards has made this clear a number of times (his misuse of the term anti-hero notwithstanding), which is exactly the way it should be for the movie to be serious...

Also, the comparisons being made to the Showa/Heizei/Millenium movies in relation to hero/anti-hero are irrelevant; this movie is a reboot of the franchise, not a continuation!
