True American Godzilla

So questions I had about this image...
1: Where is this?
2: What's behind that radioactive door?
3: Why are the military present?
Okay, so to start with I reasoned this place must be at a Nuclear Power Plant, or some other similar facility. After all, a Nuclear Power Plant is designed to hold radioactive substances. To help narrow down where this could be, and what's going on, let's follow America's Godzilla as it will take in the 2014 "documentary" ;)
Now somewhere in the ocean America's Godzilla wakes up and eventually payed a visit to Hawaii (such as this news report posted on YouTube shows http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bMa4O1por4 ). We know from the leaked head and neck that our Godzilla has gills, black skin color, and X shaped pupils, indicating an aquatic lifestyle (most likely a deep sea one, considering it's largely unexplored and that most deep sea life are one solid dark color to blend in with the sunless abyss).

When looking at the Hawaiian Islands, I see no signs of a Nuclear Power Plant, or anything else related to nuclear stuff.

...San Francisco is Godzilla's target.
Upon looking for Nuclear Power Plants at or near San Francisco I discovered this...

This is the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, located in between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Now I haven't found any inside shots to compare its radioactive room/door areas to the 2014 Godzilla image at top, but in Godzilla's path from an unknown location in the ocean, to Hawaii, and finally at San Francisco we have NO OTHER Nuclear Power Plants to hold radioactive substances.
So we have a most likely location of this door leading into a radioactive room, from this and Godzilla's path I can infer the following is going on in the scene:
Theory: Due to Godzilla being a Deep Sea originating monster, it would most likely attack Hawaii at night. I don't expect to many people knew what was going on until it was already to late as most would be asleep at this time. While we may not have many eyewitnesses to really help, Godzilla's radioactive so anything it left behind (say a footprint or a scale) would also be radioactive. The Military would be very concerned about a monster attacking them, so any info on it would be valuable clues. They would have taken the radioactive materials to the one place that would safely hold the stuff for long term situations, the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant. The Military would guard it to keep the public and other folks from it, until they had time to study it more and release info to the public.

MemberMothra LarvaeNov-19-2013 2:37 PMThe tracks on the floor indicate that something is being rolled on wheels much like a train leading to the door and down the hallway. As to what? Who knows? We can only speculate! Nicely done!

@: GTBETTA35: Good eye on the tracks leading up to the door. It could very well be a cart/train of some kind is there. Maybe normally it's used to haul heavy radioactive stuff, but know hauled something 'bigger'. Hadn't thought of it being a Muto. The possibilities of "what's inside" makes me eager to find out :)

MemberMothra LarvaeNov-19-2013 6:56 PMHmmm. Kudos to the research my friend and the insight on these plot points from the set are spot on. Id like to add more if I can. I noticed in one of the set pictures that looks to a nightshoot over a volcano which coincides with your Hawaii theory. Yes there are plenty of volcanos but this is just a speculation coinciding with yours for me. Also that nuclear facility with the train and tracks is confirmed to be carrying something. My best guess although this is just a theory is that after Godzilla emerges people try to find a way to kill him either by using a new weapon or a new creature which could be the Muto. I saw a call sheet with something that said it had Muto in it so im willing to bet that its either a chemical compound used to beat Godzilla that actually mutates other creatures or is the monster itself which either loses horribly to Godzilla and dies, or flees and reproduces making more Mutos that attack other areas.

I appreciate you adding to my theory and making some of your own. Hadn't thought of them using that area to make a weapon/monster against Godzilla, but if they had samples from Godzilla stored in there then where better to test stuff to be against Godzilla.

MemberMothra LarvaeNov-19-2013 9:56 PMA True American I don,t think a Muto is going too attack a nuclear power plant well 1 reason maybe the muto,s would be in the city killing people or maybe destroying things but i do beileve that you might be right but it,s possible Godzilla could attack the nuclear power plant. and also some Mutos in the movie might be small like a child and maybe the big one,s the adults and the queen so im guessing that a Muto child might attack or Godzilla would it depends on the size of the Mutos.
