Godzilla 2014 hieght?

I've been trying to figure this out for myself as well. Godzilla could easily be 500' or bigger to (according to those that had scene the 2013 SDCC trailer) dwarf the 'massive' Muto. Until we see something to be a size comparison next to Godzilla (as an official image or trailer) I don't think we will know its true size.

There is no way to know how tall the Mutos have been exactly. The Muto in the first leaked teaser was slightly wider than a large two story house (to the best of my recollection), but still would only have been about two hundred feet in length, give or take a few meters. The Muto at the airport in the second teaser (which was never leaked) was never described in detail so we don't know how big it's going to be. So far Godzilla's height has been the subject of continued debate and speculation abounds, but no facts exist yet save for it's going to be the "biggest Godzilla ever." Another fact is that Gareth never mentioned the comics, so there's no way to know if the 150 meter Godzilla from the older comics is even being considered. If it is, then Godzilla will be over 492 feet tall. If not, then he'll likely be shorter than that. All we know for sure is his height is over 100 meters, but that could mean 101 meters or 10,000 meters. We don't know yet. Until there is some solid proof of his height in relation to a structure or specific building that we all know and can measure, his height remains unknown.

We can get a size range idea by looking at the skyscrapers in San Francisco (the place that's to be 'visited' by Godzilla). The smallest skyscraper is 400', the tallest is 853'. According to Edwards, Godzilla is to be big enough to be spotted, but not to big so that he/she can hide. So our Godzilla is bigger than 400' and smaller than 853', compare that to the tallest Japanese Godzilla/Gojira at 328'!

I highly doubt that this "Mutos" creature will be anywhere near 200 feet tall or 200 feet in diameter. As a frame of reference here in Southern California we have Six Flags Magic Mountain which features a roller coaster named Colossus that at it's highest peak is 100 feet tall. The coaster is so big it can easily be seen from the parking lots well before entering the park itself. 200 feet would be pushing it I think. It would make Godzilla unbelievably huge. I mean the descriptions of the trailer suggest that it barely comes up to Godzilla's knee so I doubt that to be the case.

The Godzilla in this movie is going to be bigger then the other Godzilla,s so i think True American Godzilla is right he might be around 400 or 500 feet tall.

Godzilla cant be 500 feet tall that would be too high for Godzilla if he was 500 feet tall we would only see his body and legs but no his head im guessing Around 300 or 400

I say wait for a trailer, then we can tell how big he is.

Yea but one thing when will they release a trailer.

The trailer is to be officially released on December 13, 2013 (tied to the Desolation of Smaug movie). I hope to see something in the trailer to use to aid us in determining Godzilla's height. So about 1 month to wait before that happens! Unless something else is leaked out to help us sooner.

if you go by the poster of his tail and the helicopters, you would think he's gotta be at least 400 feet.

How many times are we going to debate Godzilla's height? Let's just say he is going to be over 328 feet tall (the tallest Japanese Godzilla).

i would like a godzilla so unusually colossal that his head be hidden beyond the clouds, like 45 miles, but I know that would be too exaggerated, with godzilla between 100 and 250 meters I'm content.

I don't want him exceeding 500/600 feet, because then he is too big and it wont be as suspenseful. However, I do want him over 330 feet!
