hey guys, as we all know the new Godzilla 2014 is going to be a reboot for the franchise. So my question is what timeline will the movie be set in, will it be set in the 1950s like the original or will it be set in a more modern time ? What do you guys think ?

It's gonna take place in modern times,but it's likely they'll make some sorta reference to the original. The two probably won't take place in the same continuity,but the references are almost guaranteed.
