Deathla as Godzilla's main opponent in the the new movie.

For those who don't know, Yoshimistu Banno (G 2014's producer) had originally planned to make an IMAX Godzilla film around 2007. The film would have had Godzilla fight a monster named Deathla who was a "spiritual successor" of sorts to Hedorah the Smog Monster (another Banno brain child and an awesome on at that). The IMAX film was dropped in favor of this new upcoming film. Though not a whole lot is known about Deathla, Banno has said that he would have looked similar to Hedorah but with red skin and a human skull like face. Sounds interesting. With rumors about Hedorah being the opponent, maybe it's actually Deathla? What do you guys think?
