Which Godzilla-movie did I watch as a kid?

Hey there, friends! I'm trying to find out the name of a certain Godzilla-film that I used to watch a lot back in the 80's, and I was hoping that some of you could assist me with your expertise. Here's what I have to go on: - It is not the original but one of the sequels produced BEFORE 1989 - I seem to remember an opening sequence where the monsters that Godzilla fights travels through outer space (maybe with some kind of narration) - One sequence has Godzilla fighting another monster, with them standing on each side of a huge japanese palace and wrecking it, while hitting each other. I've been trying to figure out which movie it is with no luck, so I thought I'd try my luck here. If anyone can answer my question it oughtta be you guys...
