Kong: Skull Island was full of giant sized monsters, from the Skullcrawlers, to Kong himself. The island's bestiary managed to be very original and diverse, presenting the audience with a functional ecosystem. However, Jordan Vogt Roberts took to twitter today to reveal an unused creature design from an early draft of the script. The image can be viewed below:
The aquatic creature described looks insect-like, much like the Spore Mantis or even the giant spider. However this creature lurks in the water much like the Mire Squid and the Sker Buffalo, and appears to be an ambush predator according to this concept art.
What do you think of this newly revealed unused Kaiju for Skull Island? Would you have wanted Kong to fight this beast, or have it attack the unsuspecting party of humans? Let us know in the comments below!
