Gone are the worries back when J. K. Simmons and Michael Keaton exited the project, and in its place an air of hope and of mystery as Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts continues to gather an impressive cast ready for the first day of filming Kong:Skull Island this October in Hawaii. Reportedly a new addition to the movies strong cast comes with Jason Mitchell, whom recently starred alongside existing cast member Corey Hawkins in the critically acclaimed Straight Outta Compton. Mitchell is reported to play an "easy going pilot", no doubt responsible for get his co-stars both on, and/or undoubtedly off the legendary island in the movies title.
