Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts and the cast of Kong: Skull Island have arrived in Hawaii ready to begin filming which is due to start on Monday. The movie is now the second movie in Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. monster series, as it has already been confirmed that Monarch, the top secret monster hunting organisation that first appeared in last years Godzilla, will be featured in some capacity within the movie. Set for release March 10th, 2017, Kong: Skull Island will be followed by Godzilla II, which will be directed by Gareth Edwards after he finishes work on his forthcoming Star Wars spin off Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Godzilla II is expected to hit theatres June 8th, 2018. Then in 2020 Godzilla and King Kong will face off against each once again in a remake of the 1962 Toho classic King Kong vs Godzilla.
