lets hecking goooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
I started to become a Godzilla fan since I was 13 years old. I love the king of the monsters himself. I love it how he protects the humans from any villain that has threatened the human race. Go Godzilla. I love him.
I have hopes for this anime. Really looking forward to the other Kaiju interpretations.
@KaijuBuildz Exactly!
Trendmasters vibe going on here.
New transfer please?
"Why watch it? Because it's GODZILLA VS KING KONG dammit!!!" Sums it up really
I hope the Kong pics are from the prototype; that mouth is pretty wonky. Also, not big on the punching action.
Otherwise, they look like great kids toys.
I hope these Bandai figures make it to North America, and not as exclusives to WM.
I also think that was just the venom movie.
Dang, 2 major errors slipped through.
1. Movie Monster Series Godzilla-kun from Godziban is actually 1,650 yen. I sincerely apologize for that ignorant oversight/error.
2. I don't know what exactly happened with the formatting of the bullet points, and I wish I could edit it, but I, unfortunately, can't. For future reference, however, I know how to avoid the issue.
Gamera inspiration is cool but he better not be related to shin.
Bears some exciting similarities to the 1954 maquette and Shin Godzilla. I also dig the Gamera 3-esque Mohawk. The eyes are bit much, but it's quite the monster design.
Well I lumped in Kong Skull Island because its a Godzilla movie continuity-wise and not an independent monster film that retroactively becomes a Godzilla monster movie
Well, the update shows is back in operation. Although nothing new added.
Well, if we're going outside Godzilla movies, then yes. The Mysterians, Rodan, Dogora--That's a long list.
Godzilla 2014, Kong Skull Island, Godzilla King of the Monsters, and Godzilla 1998
....and I think Godzilla vs King Ghidorah if I remember correctly
Godzilla 1998 had some horror elements regarding the baby godzillas
(I don't know why I can't think of all this and just do a single post!)
Also - another 6" Kong is listed. The link is here:
Well, it hadn't been update for over a year, so it's to be expected. Maybe some good stuff will show up closer to May. (Fingers crossed.)
Although I don't really like the 'battle damage' on Warbat.
Still a silly name.
Awaiting patiently......
I'm hesitant on calling any Godzilla film (barring 1954) a horror film. Although movies like Shin, GMK, 84, Bio, and some others do most certainly contain horror elements.
I think that was just the venom movie
I'm pretty sure I heard that the symbiotes break down their hosts or was that only exclusive to the Venom movie?
No competition, IMHO...
Hopeful for an interesting read when this comes out. Only wish Legendary would publish novels for the "in-between" story-lines, such as they did for the Pacific Rim movies.
Xenotaris it doesn’t eat it’s host it eventually takes over their body. The host’s body basically becomes a puppet of the symbiote of worn to long.
I know that's why I said the thing I said because doesn't Venom also breaks down its hosts? A power that would eventually takes you over and eats you seems like a huge disadvantage in a fight
With luck that date will still hold even if the movie gets delayed again. At this point I'd be happy to just read the novelization!
Xenotoris it’s just a what if scenario
I don't think the kaiju need that symbiote, they're already more powerful than it
The one that comes straight to mind is King Ghidorah. If you're going off the Monsterverse version, how would Venom interact with Ghidorah as its one body with 3 individual minds?
Something to remember about Venom is that the emotions of the host influence the Symbiote, so other pure good monsters like Mothra could instead work together with the Symbiote for the good. Then again, the Symbiote is an alien lifeform and therefore disturbing the balance of nature so maybe not.
Also, I just wanted to mention that Venom with SpaceGodzilla as its host would be the most terrifying thing ever.
This was the best that could be found at the moment. Unfortunately the image is quite small:
Raizo Fan Database - Shigeo Tanaka
I am not referring to the shots of them underwater but when they are in the surface and Takeda is pulling yuri to the shore.
Which shots in specific, because it seems to be Chiharu Niiyama being pulled to shore unconscious. I can't speak for the underwater shots of the characters.
Even Return of Godzilla doesn't really show casualties in the same way as Godzilla '54 and Godzilla vs. Hedorah. This is like due to the movie wanting us to sympathize with Godzilla over the political nuance.
Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack and Shin Godzilla both show casualties in disturbing ways.
I'd think you'd like this video I saw a while back. It's pretty much everything you said, but with even more monsters like Ghidorah, Anguirus and Kong.
