I noticed at the M.U.T.O. website - the spinning globe has highlighted locations - one of those highlights appears to correspond with the locale of the Turmekistan "Doorway to Hell". Another appears to correspond to the location of Centralia PA, where an underground coal fire has been burning for decades.
And there is another highlight near the locale of the Bayou Corne sinkhole in Louisiana. Coincidence?

Ok, this is weird. The second video (the one unlocked by signing in with your social network) has changed - it now is "STATIC 2", and by following the link of the video itself you'll see that it was uploaded 4 years ago on some random public channel named "dirtywhores4cash". Oh, and the video actually is nothing but annoying static, though I get the feeling there's something hidden in it. But maybe that's only me and it's just useless static. Does anyone notice the the "File Decryption Progress" bar rises everyday. It should be filled by at least Thursday or Friday.
