The real hype begins! ^.^
it's like the original 1954 roar, long like the 84-91 roar and changed to make it more unique, the 98 roar was mostly the same classic 60's-70's roar with a elephant roar in the middle. this new roar does not sound like it uses animal noises whats so ever, just like the original was.
the roar seem a little long, especially at like 0:02 to around 0:07, it sounds edited and too mechanical
now that is even more epic and now this is even more stuff.
1. really good poster
2. more interaction to do with godzilla by offical facebook and twitter pages
3. really good empire cover
and now 4. the FULL official roar
this is obviously something to do with marketing and it shows even more that a trailer is coming very soon
it also shows that legendary and warner bros are now ready to promote godzilla
@HILSDORF84
go to http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=115255 its there ready to play underneath the empire cover on soundcloud
Damnit of course the website won't work for me. Has anyone downloaded it yet and could email it to me hilsdorf84@yahoo.com
I am so stoked!!!
Comes from legendary and official godzilla facebook page and i think twitter, so it's official
Where has this come from!? I saw this on comingsoon.net as well. The beginning of the roar sounds kind of modified from the one in the trailer and comic con footage. Could this be from the new trailer due soon!? (Godzilla cover Empire magazine is also out on the predicted 27th for the trailer could this be coincidence or are our hopes being realised?)
Yeah-it's awesome. Complex, unique, genuinely scary. Yet true to the original. other worldly. I have a feeling not everyone is going to like it but I love I.
You beat my post by a few seconds, if it shows up hopefully chris can delete mine So there isn't a duplicate thread.
That's what I call a monster's roar!
The first few seconds is like the start up of some demonic engine! Incredible, this Godzilla will obliterate all memory of 1998!
Looking forward to pick it up this thursday and we will see more godzilla in few days. :)
I can definitely see the how they used eagles to inspire his scaly (yet "noble") mug.
if you look closeley though compared to scenes weve seen and the basic layout weve had leaked, this one on the cover looks entirely different, the neck spikes are less pronounced, his neck is incredibly skinnier and more classic, idk theres such a big difference in the two, have we been only getting a pre-draft godzilla or are these models 2 seperate godzilla models?
Really cool. I wonder if the new poster plus this empire cover might teasers for the shot we'll see of Godzilla in the next trailer - still with his back to us but not obscured by debris or shadow.
What kind of nickname could you give Bigby???
words cannot describe the awesome!
also, i had been worried for a while that his head was going to be to small, thank god i was wring!
This poster actually gives us a good look at Godzilla's new design and the design is a mondernized 1954. The definition of Badass!
If I could spell a whistle sound effect, I would because wow, that is epic! The king has returned!
Maybe twice.
I think.. the marketing starts ;D
OH... MY... GOD!!!!!
Yep, any small design worries I may have had are completely gone.
OMG, I just pee'd a little....
I like it A LOT! Thursday here I come!
Well Serkis is the go-to-guy on CGI characters, so not surprsing Gareth Edwards spoke to him for advice on capturing emotions/expressionism for Godzilla
Amazing. Im also pretty sure this is the first time ive seen it mentioned that Andy Serkis was involved...
"Keep your eyes peeled for more Godzilla goodness in the next few days..." I LIKE THIS
It really looks like there is something in front of the camera... like a Godzilla suit from the older movies.I really like his design.
That is the true King! :,D
Loving the Japanese Black/White/Red scheme too, just seriously awesome!
OMG! He looks really badass! :D Can't wait!
The to kill Godzilla is from the human's perspective as the whole reason they lure baby to the city with Godzilla following him is so Destroyah could kill him before meltdown. They wanted an oxygen Destroyer to be made for most of the movie to do it but since they couldn't get 1 Destroyah took it's place. Thus he fills the role it was meant to have.
The greatest foe is up for debate. Is it mothra who beat him the most? Ghidorah, who he's fought the most? Gigan who was the first to make him bleed? King Kong for despite only being a 1 time fight making the most successful Godzilla movie ever? Is it his mechanical double? Any amount of monsters could fill the role of greatest depending of tastes and opinions.
Hey, I revealed the whole Godzilla 2014 toy line up at Toy Wiz.com before anyone else did! Please.....
