KingSalomonMMIV It's really good. It shows some clearer views of Monarch Outposts 61 and 32, and reveals that the Argo's wings can apparently fold backward.
I love the art book for Godzilla 2014. Haven't gotten my hands on the KotM art book yet, but I deffinately plan on doing so. I bet the art for this film will be just as great.
There are two that stand out to me. First, the Honolulu / airport sequence; although a lot of people hate this movie for holding back on Godzilla, I think the huge buildup makes his reveal all the more exciting, and the actual scene (in my opinion) is absolute genius.
Second, I absolutely love the halo jump scene. Watching the military fall from the sky into a buring city (symbolic of angels diving down into hell) is absolutely breathtaking. The use of Lageti's Requiem 100% works, actually adding a horrific vibe when we see Godzilla's silhouette. I get chills every time I watch this scene.
1964, 1975, 1989, 1994, 1995, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2014, & 2019.
The opening credits, Godzilla's first appearance in Honolulu, the Golden Gate Bridge sequence, the Atomic Breath scene, and the Kiss of Death.
I may not like the movie as much as I did back then, but it still holds a special place in my heart.
I got the artbook for KOTM last Christmas, and I've throughly enjoyed it. I love looking at concept art, and I can't wait to see what goodies await in this one.
My boi Shin.
I also like Godzilla: 2000's design, GMK, Legendary, and basically all of the Heisei designs. I really don't mind any other Goji, though.

Love me some Burning Godzilla
Looks absolutely great ! I'm really excited for the Film as well !
I just saw the entire thing ! It's pretty cool !
I really dig the tentacled Godzilla !!! Looks awesome !
My favorite incarnation is Shin Godzilla.

Wow! Excellent work! I like this shape. Deserves to appear on the screen!
I hope, Biollante will appear in Monster verse in some movie.
I highly doubt that's going through anyone's minds when critics, moviegoers or fans panned the movie.
As matter of fact, the global warming theme is something that has been praised. I think a lot of this is whistle-blowing for what a lot of people more simply think is a weak movie.
That said, USD_Kaiju, I'm glad King of the Monsters has made some new fans. Welcome to the insanity.
she looks quite formidable
Ps.
I think I can answer G.H's question about who 'they' are.
It's referring to the Politically Correct elites in the entertainment industry and on social media.
Remember in KOTM, it's starts off with the idea humans (infection) being responsible for climate change (disease). A lot of what these PC elites and SJWs like to cling onto is the issue about climate change and humans being the only sole cause of it. They insist on everybody else but them to do the hard work to change the world and sacrifice their energy and money.
In the movie, the issue is used as a way to get the ball rolling until we discover the real motive behind the villain. His motive changes the movie's first theme.
The first theme is what 'they' like to preach about, but it changed along the course of the movie. (Pardon if I'm wrong) They can't get ahold of Godzilla because they can't use him for their ideologies.
They can't touch Godzilla because he isn't what they support.
Hot dang. I haven't seen the movie, but I'd be lying if I didn't say that this figure looks absolutely gorgeous. The neck is so uniquely designed, the way the material bends and folds feels like an actual rubber suit, that's so cool. Gosh I hope this sees some form of wider release, I'd love to get my hands on one of these.
Although I agree that no one should pay attention to what the critics say, obviously they can't be bothered to do research on kaiju movies, it does kind of hurt to see outsiders use this to justify their distaste towards the movie. And I can't imagine what Dougherty must have felt.
I'm one of the newer fans to Godzilla because of KOTM and I fell in love with the movie because it was made passionate Godzilla fans and it was obvious from the start. You could literally see how much care and love was put into the movie. I feel like that should have been recognized, if not by an Oscar, then by the public.
I hope as the MonsterVerse continues more and more people will see why Godzilla has had fans since the beginning.
G. H. (Gman) Exactly.
Someone on Facebook mentioned this idea and I thought this would've been a good, simple way to go. Do away with the large cast and hone in on the conflict between two men and their ideologies. It would've benefited from diving deeper into their characters instead of sharing time with confused archetypes and needless characters gawking out windows. Here's his idea:
"For just the movie itself [King of the Monsters] I would have done away with the Russell family and make it about the conflict between Serizawa and Jonah. Give them a history together. Maybe Jonah used to be in charge of the armed forces division attached to MONARCH but after seeing how MONARCH leaders like Serizawa priorities titans lives over the men lost in the line of duty he got disenfranchised with the whole thing and is working to undermine MONARCH.
Basically instead of introducing new characters, make it about the characters already introduced in the previous movie."
Pretty, but the wings look a bit short.
Will Gamers possibly be a team member with Godzilla and Kong against their does in a up coming movie. Should include the protector of the earth not leave him out.
KingSalomonMMIV We can only speculate right now. That's part of the fun imo.
dk
Just because the aircraft carrier sequence will probably have a huge money shot in the marketing doesn't mean it takes place during the end battle. It could very well take place at Skull Island during the first battle between Godzilla and Kong.
I like ,most of them but really like 2014 and KOTM versions.
To most fans' cringing, I like the 1998 version. It didn't have any special powers and was more of an organic creature. I also liked how it was more agile and immediate in its actions yet demonstrated intelligence as well.
Heisei Godzilla
because it’s my favorite version
side note I have a theory that the Heisei Godzilla is female and no not because of the godzillasaurus egg
JurassicKaiju14 To me, everything points to the end game on Skull Island, but that aircraft carrier pic could suggest the battle could end elsewhere.
dk Personally, I think Goji and Kong's feud is going to start on Skull Island, and then something will happen to it, maybe it gets destroyed or something, and that escalates things between them.
I mean, the KOTM end credits hints that the Titans are starting to make their way toward Skull Island for reasons unknown, so make of that what you will.
Wow, that is just stunning. And while I like the KOTM!Mothra head design as it is (I like the sleeker look it has), I must admit that it's a nice touch to have the head on this one kinda resemble the classics.
And Rodan bowing to the model is hysterical.
I thought the climax was supposed to be on Skull Island yet the pics have a city scape- yeah, I know it's concept art.
Kong might have an advantage on Skull Island as the "Get off My Lawn" pics seem to depict.
Dope. hehe get it
@JurassicKaiju14, YES!
@JurassicKaiju14 Yeah, I mean that :D
Moldovan0731 Don't you mean Abraham LinKong?
Love the Abraham Lincoln look
MechaniKong1223,
That clip gives us only 2.9 seconds more than nothing to go on.
MechaniKong1223 That's not nearly enough to gauge his abilities.
I think it will be a draw. Both characters have reasons to be liked. One being beaten or killed would cause a backlash from that character's base fans.
My mom introduced him to me when I was about 7 or 8 years old. She was never a fan, but she vividly remembers watching the original and keeps mentioning a black-n-white one with Godzilla and another dinosaur-like creature fighting (Godzilla Raids Again).
I guess he didn't click with me until a while later when I found out there was going to be a sequel to the 2014 film. I decided to revisit that movie, as I had watched it before (but in a very bad viewing experience). I loved it, and I decided to rewatch the original (which I had also already seen). I realized I wasn't old enough to appreciate that movie when I had first seen it.
Just put the kong we see in the clip for comparision.
We haven't seen what Kong 2020 can really do. Don't you think this is a bit premature?
