What is your current favorite Godzilla video game? There's many to choose from. Let us know which one and why by replying below! Personally, I have always been a huge fan of Godzilla: Save The Earth, it is, to this day my all time favorite Godzilla Game. I did not enjoy it's sequel, Godzilla: Unleashed due to the fact that I never and still do not own a Nintendo Wii, and was stuck with the PS2 version. Which turned out to be a glitchy, slow version of S.T.E.

Growing up, like many of you, I loved Godzilla. I would go to my local Blockbuster or what have you, and always rent the classics. Looking at them now, some of the really old ones were quite silly, but remain very entertaining to this day. So, when I finally got a PS2, I was on a mission to get myself a copy of Save The Earth and boy was I a happy kid. I still to this day unpack the old PS2 and play a few rounds, it's a game that never gets old and that is why Godzilla: Save The Earth remains my top, favorite Godzilla game.

So, what about you? What's your favorite Godzilla game and why? Leave your responses below!

I have a big fascination with 2D fighters, so I would probably have to go with Godzilla: Kaiju Dai Kessen for the Super Famicom system. Sadly, I had to import it as it was never released outside of Japan.

Godzilla Destroy All Monster Melee for GameCube. I liked the smoother graphics and smoother game play rather than Save the Earth for PS2. Play the two games side by side, Melee looks and plays better. Not saying Save the Earth is bad, I just like the Melee one better. I wish they would make a new Godzilla game and have all the versions of Godzilla through out the years as DLC

My favorite Godzilla game is definitely Godzilla: Save the Earth. This is because my first Godzilla game was Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee, and Godzilla: Save the Earth was a big step-up from the small amount of monsters available in Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee. Godzilla: Unleashed was a disappointment for me because I usually play my Godzilla games on PS2, however it ran slowly on the system. I later purchased the game on Wii, and discovered it had loads more cool monsters in it than the PS2 version of the game. This got me upset because I did not enjoy playing on the Wii especially for this type of game. Therefore, Godzilla: Save the Earth is to this day my favorite Godzilla video game.

Save the Earth was my favorite. The graphics for the time were solid, the multiplayer mode was fantastic and I was very pleased with the amount of destruction you could cause. I liked the monster line-up for the Wii's Godzilla Unleased, but the controls were quite difficult and it was hard to cause the same amount of chaos emulated in the first two games. I wish the controls were more similar to Super Smash Bros. Meanwhile the PS2 version was a joke.

My favorite unofficial Godzilla video game is Godzilla: Daikaiju Battle Royale. However, my favorite official game is a tie between Godzilla: Save The Earth, or Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters: Melee. I was never really a huge fan of Godzilla: Unleahsed. The gameplay felt broken and there were too many monsters that were just a clone of the other. Godzilla 1954 was just Godzilla 90's but with different roars, not to mention they moved like people. Though I did like concept of the story, it just wasn't a very good game.

Godzilla: Unleashed is the best (in my opinion) game ever for Godzilla! for the Wii not ps2 because the ps2 has similar graphics as save the earth, but with a new monster. Battra (that's how I look at it.)oh and by the way....I bought Godzilla unleashed in 2007 and I still have it!!! clean and intact! with booklet and everything!

I will say Godzilla Unleashed just because of the massive selections of monsters and missions.

To be perfectly honest, I think that all games involving Godzilla have sucked. They were entertaining for about 10 minutes, but they gold very old, very fast.

They just didn't capture the might and majesty of what it meant to be a Kaiju. I think that when they designed the game they were thinking too much about mortal combat and less about being a Kaiju. They all felt very contrived and very poorly thought out, and to this day I don't care for a single game involving the Big-G. They just didn't do him justice.

Unleashed, why its the only game i played exept save the Earth but in my mind unleashed is better, it has more monsters and better gameplay and story. But i didnt like how every monster was forced a ranged attack.
