Merry Christmas! Now what was your haul?

Xenotaris I got GvMG2 a while ago from my local Barnes and Noble.

And honestly, I really don't see what everyone likes about it.

I just wanted to complete my Godzilla movie collection. As for other non-godzilla releated christmas stuff, I got a new dinosaur book, a pokemon game, Return to Jurassic Park DLC for Jurassic World Evolution, a pokemon 3-pack movie set, and some other stuff

SAME! I just finished the campaign for that yesterday. Those JP3 raptors are things of beauty, aren't they? :D

Yes, I love the JPIII Raptor designs despite Jurassic Park III is my least favorite Jurassic Park movie

It's not what I received but what was given. I just gave my elderly dad Skull Island and KOTM (Rambo Last blood too) and he was pretty tickled. My niece whom I haven't seen in years was there and got wide eyed and excited that I was into the trilogy. She didn't know GvK was delayed. It was a moment of love and geekery and not really about loot. I was a little peeved no one got me a PS4 though ;)

That's cool I did give my sister King of the Monsters, my best friend Tokyo SOS/Final Wars (he's a massive Kitamura fan) and another one of my best friends Ultraman Geed.

Still gotta watch my KOTM disk. Good thing I actually do have a Blu-Ray player or I'd be in trouble.

I got my first Godzilla figure, the NECA Mothra 2019 figure, I love her but I'm worried that she might be defective because her legs are weird.

Well my concerns are that all her front legs are leaning towards the right side, one of her back legs one foot is bent to a side, only one leg moves, I can't seem to fit her in the pole where she stands, like sure it holds her but she doesn't "get" inside the semicircle. Plus the position she's in is different from all the boxart but that doesn't worry me as much. Here are the pics:

Okay, so the legs being bent/leaning has to do with how the soft plastic was packaged, mine has a similar issue to a lesser extent. You can try dipping them in a bowl of hot water for 15-30 seconds, bending them straight and then holding them like that in cold water for a minute or two. Didn't work too great for me, but it's worth a shot. The heat might also loosen up the legs you say don't move(The hind legs are actually on balljoints, btw)

As for the pole, first thing to do is make sure that little tab is pointed towards the head. After that it's really just trial and error to find that sweet spot where she clips in.

I've found Mothra to be pretty durable, haven't had the pole crack at all and only popped a back leg out once by accident(that's how I know those are on balljoints). Heat won't break anything, just make it more pliable, I needed it to get her legs safely moving in the first place. NECA figures are often like that.

However if you don't feel comfortable trying that, it can't hurt to try your luck with another Mothra. I'd advise checking to make sure they have it on the shelf to compare with before returning the first one.

I don't think I've seen a Mothra pic online where the legs weren't bent to some degree out of the package, but admittedly yours is worse than usual. If you don't want to risk fixing it, that's your call, I'm literally not the boss of you. Best of luck either way.

I got two Godzilla pop vinyls, which I have 99 and my goal is to get to 200. I got Detective Pikachu, which I gotta say, the giant Torterras reminded me of when Titanus Methuselah rose from the ground when he was awakened by Ghidorahs calls.
