AdminGodzillaMarch 14, 2019Since the former thread sort of just became a thread for comedic memes, I regulated it to that instead. Here, will focus on rarer images and some out of context collages to bring in some relevant discussion. As so:
The KingGoji (1962) suit in Mothra vs. Godzilla.
One of the best innovations in Invasion of Astro Monster is the larger scale Godzilla foot and tail used for close-ups of detailed buildings being trampled on.
This allowed for a higher level of detail in the miniatures that showed more debris and objects inside the buildings spilling out.
This technique would be revisited to lesser effect in 1984, but done more competently in GMK.
